Toolstation New Eltham Metro

Good products at reasonable and competitive prices. Pretty well stocked and dealing with the current social distancing rule extremely well operating as normal as possible, they even take returns and refunds which is the complete opposite to the local screwfix!
All Staff are pleasant, attentive and professional, especially karolina and julie.
Parking easy but limited and this branch can become very busy at times. I recommend checking the stock on internet first to avoid disappointment. Normally out of stock products are available for next day delivery!

Absolutely rude customer service from this branch. The duty manager has no experience of customers service. Refused to even speak.
Closed the store 10 min earlier and refused to serve. I was only picking ip an order.

I collected an item today and had a concern I needed to discuss. The staff at New Eltham made time for me and the new Manager was very approachable. This store is often busy and the team here do very well to keep it all going. Sometimes as traders we get frustrated easily but keep up the good work, as your service is greatly appreciated.

What is the point of this store?

I went to Toolstation in New Eltham today and picked up an order but I also look my orbital sander to the branch for some advice on how to remove a screw that had become stuck preventing me from changing the sanding plate. Two very helpful ladies provided me with amazing customer service and they actually managed to remove the screw using a trick with an elastic band. It was brilliant and I was chuffed to bits :)

Another lady them spent some time finding th4e correct size and length for replacement screw, she was very patient and tried a few times before she found the correct size and then she wanted to check they fitted which she did whilst I waited.

The staff at this branch are brilliant at customer service and product knowledge which is immensely helpful to me as a single parent with very little DIY knowledge who is learning as I go along.

Fantastic experience again today - well done ladies :)

Had a bit of a wait to be served although enough men around to open a till but they were stacking shelves etc.... However, the guy that served me with my tarpaulin was helpful and polite and professional. A very nice store and I will return. Thanks x

I popped in to the New Eltham branch for a specific tool which will fix something relatively small. With a local Halfords branch not opening till a later morning time, I needed a really timely response. Well, not only did I get a timely response but also my specific request were treated with a graceful effort and desire to see this small task met. I am glad that Julie and Karolina, the staff members who attended to me, were both good laughs but had an even bigger heart; cheers to you both. All the best!
