My Grandparents started this shop in the 1900's. Reginald (Rex) & Vera Cowling nee Sanders.
Have old photos from back in the day, will upload soon.. So happy to see it still holds our family name after all these years. They used to live above the shop.

Best local hardware, service with smile, sound advice, rarely not had stock of my requirement, my needs over last twenty years may be low, but my appreciation is high, good people 🤩

A regular user of Cowlings. They have a great selection of general hardware as well as plants and much more. Good "old fashioned" service. Check out their fork handles, plugs, hose and left handed screwdrivers 👍😉

Lovely hardware store with great service and everything you'll need. Having discovered this place I've never gone back to the 'big names'.

Love this shop it seems to have all household supplies and more you will need. I bought a load of kids games and toys for the summer. Great prices and good selection.
