Used Chritchleys for over 19 years because it is a lot closer to home than some of the larger DIY stores. They stock a large selection of goods suitable for every home DYIer Though the items I've bought cost slightly more the larger stores, it's the convenience which brings me back to this shop.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always patient and obliging when it comes to questions from customers. Prices have gone up a bit but the same as anywhere. Great service. 👍

What can I say, I love this place. There is literally nothing that you cannot get from this place. The one thing I really love is being able to buy things individually which is great when you only need small numbers of bolts for example. It's I'd also very well priced. If you need something hardware wise try here first. Once you have been once you will keep going back.

Nice old fashioned hardware shop where you can pick up the odd bits you need instead of packs of things you don't. Quite helpful customer service (if a bit sharp, depending who you get!)

Doesn't accept card payments for smaller purchases (though doesn't mention this anywhere) and opening / closing times seem to be at random rather than advertised, so don't bank on it actually being open
