Screwfix Carmarthen

Prompt service at checkout. Staff not very friendly but good at their job. Fairly typical attitude for trade type retailer. However rated next to b&q where the staff are sourced on street corners and given an orange apron and told to get on with it, then it's fantastic.

The staff were very quick to collect my prepaid order, all in all it took about 5 minutes to go in and get my item.
They currently have no items or catalogues on display in the collection area due to the current human malware issue, so there's plenty of space to social distance if you happen to arrive at the same time as another person.
Very happy with the product, happy with the price and happy with the professionalism of the staff and service.

Go and see any of the team at Carmarthen and they'll help whether you're trade or a diy'er. I ask them lots of silly questions and they haven't tired of me yet! Great outlet - and thanks for your help today Dan, and for not mentioning the expanding foam incident :-)

Told to come back after 12 noon the next day, as it was in the warehouse. I returned the next day, to be told that the warehouse had cancelled. Can't see why we leave our number if they don't use it to inform us of these things. Waste of my time and now I have to delay the job. Terrible service.

I shopped online for a new shower and the item was here in two days.

Really handy having a Screwfix in town. Needed quality, heavy duty tools for putting up fencing over the weekend. Placed an order the night before for collection next day and it was ready to collect by 7 - 7.30am.

A little disappointing, rang to enquire if they had any "Alko" friction front and rear pads in stock, told "don't sell them at moment" 30 minutes later visited the shop in person and found what I wanted on display, it's such a pity the staff couldn't be bothered to go the extra mile to assist a telephone enquiry.

Very helpful, even for someone like me who knows nothing about plumbing and didn't know what to buy. But I got the job done thanks to them.
