Tasty food, good coffee and nice atmosphere. Able to accommodate gluten-free and other dietary needs such as vegetarian and vegan options. Good breakfast and sandwich choices and yummy baked goods!

We love Basil's. Jan and her staff are so friendly and attentive to us. Delicious selection of innovative quiches, frittatas & salads, so many tempting sweet goodies, like their gluten free double chocolate brownies. Yummy. We look forward to being able to eat in the cafe again soon. J and C.

I had the maple and bacon pancakes and an iced coffee with oat milk. The meal was AMAZING! The staff are really friendly too. The salads and cakes they had on display looked delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic staff. Normally just have a hot chocolate but I have now had some food and it was delicious. Always want to go here whilst waiting for my daughter at nursery!

The food was very nice and the service was good. Cash was not really accepted as they had no change and declared card was really the only choice.
We ordered coffee, lunch and a cake to share. cake came with the coffee and then lunch arrived.

Have always loved Basil since it opened. Superb quality food and great staff. No better place for a coffee and a cake.
One criticism is that it's so pricey...£7+ for a coffee and a slice of cake.

Nice little cafe, quite intimate and the food is great, only 4 stars as the seating area upstairs is a little bland but I am being a bit fussy. Don't hesitate to grab some grub if on st John's Rd. Theirs a car park down the rd opposite.
