Wonderful olive oils, great honeys from Crete (my favourite is Thyme), some very good wines from all around Greece, this shop is not simply a gift shop in Greece transferred to Richmond, but a selection of the best products on offer made available pretty much on my doorstep.

They're friendly, sell gorgeous ice cream and will make you a cup of Greek coffee, and the cave is well worth a visit. But, do check for high tides - the entrance is below the high tide level so the shop shuts for a while at odd times (not entirely like my experience of shops in Crete!).

On a visit to Richmond with my wife last week, we discovered this little treasure of a shop, right on the river side just downriver from Richmond Bridge. Although the shop mainly offers an acclaimed range of olive oils and Greek products, they also produce a quite exceptional range of homemade ice creams, produced with simple natural ingredients. Over the days we spent in Richmond, I managed to sample each of their varieties (except Chocolate as I don’t eat it). I would particularly recommend their HoneyComb (with no added sugar!), the Black Cherry, and the Rose Petal ice creams. I would not say that I am a connoisseur, but I have travelled extensively and I can honestly say that I have never experienced a better ice cream anywhere in the world - not in Italy, France or even Scandinavia. It is certainly the best I have found in the UK, and well worth a trip to sample it. If you don’t know it, Richmond itself is recommended; it is full of character, with lovely views, nature walks or bike rides, as well as a great selection of shops.

Like it says...gold Ellenic products first of all the Olive oil and honey and meny ather gift's of Ellenic graund! Must!!!

Potentially the best ice cream I have ever had. We had the coffee liqueur and lemon curd flavours and we didn't want them to end! Mist return to sample all the other incredible products. Thanks for a great experience!

The ice cream is absolutely beyond delicious !!!!!! Normally I do not like ice cream but a few days ago I was walking past and ‘ black cherry ‘ one caught my eye and Oh My God ( in the voice of Janice from Friends)!!! Now I keep coming back every day !! 😊😊😊 please never stop selling it or you will break my heart !!

Me and my wife are fanatic Grecophiles ,and as we couldn't visit what we call our second home this year decided to bring greece to us ,that's when we came across this gem of a buisiness, what a wonderful place!! The cretan pots are magnificent !! Now to try the wine! ,pity they didnt do keftico or stifado ,

Great company to deal with. I had a problem with a broken bottle and the postman strongly advised not to accept it. Got in touch with the the company via Amazon and had a replacement bottle of Haraki the next day. Amazing. Don't know why but Amazon wouldn't let me post this on their site!
