Chapman Plumbing and Heating

After our ancient boiler broke on one of the coldest weeks of the year, we needed a new one as soon as possible. Adam was able to fit us in that week, and was very friendly when he came to give us a quote. He was here much longer than the 5 mins the other plumbers spent quoting us, explaining what he thought would be our best options. After he ran into unexpected problems on the job, he came back on a Sunday to finish it. His work was good, and we would definitely recommend him.

Chapman plumbing and heating have always been my go to people especially with my elderly mother whilst I'm away and can't oversee the work. I trust them and they have always gone above and beyond. If there was a problem Adam would investigate until he found a solution no matter what it took.he would return until my mum was satisfied. Jo is always professional,friendly and accommodating. To trust in a trader is a great comfort. I'll not use anyone else.

Adam took on the challenge of improving our hot water system, after a builder left us with a huge mess.
He was not phased by the task and completed the work to a very high standard, always looking after our immediate water needs.
It was a pleasure to meet such a dedicated and experienced tradesman, who you can trust.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Jo was very helpful in the office throughout the whole process and Adam was very professional and honest from the quotation process right through to installation. We were let down by another company and Chapman Plumbing and Heating were quick to quote and help us out by replacing our boiler while we were on holiday. The boiler was 35 years old and was not a straightforward job but they did us proud! Totally trustworthy, they kept us informed, the work was done to an exceptionally high standard and they cleaned up afterwards! We would recommend them to anyone. Perfect!

Having just fitted a new bathroom I had awful pressure issues. Coupled with a boiler on the way out I knew it was time to look for quotes to replace the system. After several "no you don't want that"s I finally found Chapman! Jo was friendly and happy to work around my timeframe when booking for a quote visit which really helped as I work in London. Adam appeared a day later eating into his own evening, he spent the better part of 2 hours talking me through the probable causes of my problems and the options to fix. He explained everything right down to what must be basic plumbing to me and was very patient and easy to understand throughout. It's clear that Adam can do the simple installs and the complex as, every time there was a problem, we worked through it together so I wasn't clueless towards the end. Needless to say my pressure problem is permanently solved and earlier than expected too. The new system looks the part as well, professional, clean and safe Adam even placed some extra pipe protection in the loft as I mentioned I throw things up there on occasion. All this was done for the fair and quoted price which was honoured till the end.
I'll only be using Chapman in the future and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Very impressed with installation of our new condensing boiler; Adam and Patrick extremely professional and nothing too much trouble (even getting rid of all associated rubbish and cleaning up afterwards too). No invasion of personal space, found them both very polite and great fun to be with and extremely informative about how everything works etc.

Adam has recently installed a Honeywell EvoHome system for me. We have a large, 1950s house with solid walls. Adam was very thorough in his survey, recommended where to site the controller for best signal, and even altered the piping to one of the radiators to put the HR92 in an optimum position for reception. As well as this, I had an antiquated setup with the pipes around the boiler and cylinder and with the wiring which Adam reworked whilst reusing as much as possible to keep costs to a minimum. Throughout his two days here, Adam was cheerful in the face of (1950s-era) adversity, chatty, tidy, etc. His knowledge of heating systems and some of the physics behind things is exemplary and should be a shining example to all his peers. I had two quotes for this work and Adam's was half the price of the other one because he recommended a pragmatic, keep it simple approach rather than trying to tackle everything at once. I anticipate a boiler upgrade in the next 12-15 months, and Adam will be the first person I call. I highly recommend Adam and look forward to working with him again in the future.
