On the Mam Tor - Lose Hill route you have Back Tor summit and it is probably the best point on this trail. A perfect view of the surrounding hills and valleys, a relatively steep hill where the kids will finally slow down for a moment and a lot of trees on the ridge creating an interesting view.

This place is one of my favorite to visit. It isn't very hard to walk, which helps. But it dies get very windy, which can be a challenge for people. Great views from the top.

Well worth the visit, our day was pretty overcast in the main with views from the top limited. It’s a safe and sensible hike though, not too challenging, definitely bring plenty of water and go to the loo first! Generally quite busy, but should be enough space for everyone and paths are pretty wide, lots of space for sitting to one side and having a picnic 👍

Good to see that the Great Ridge paving from Mam Tor to Black Tor is progressing to safeguard the route from erosion. The contrast to the unpaved section is dramatic

Fantastic walk to do in sunny day. I went while they are doing a makeover to the hill. In the near future, it will be.more enjoyable and family friendly for the work that they are doing. The views are fantastic, you are amazed with the pintoresc pictures of the Hope Valley and the sprawled villages and cottages around them.
Be careful with day you choose to go because strong winds and bad weather could make the walk less enjoyable.

Back Tor is more relaxing place than Lose Hill and Mon Tor for me. But it is in the middle of the route, so less famous. 4G data is fine from Lose Hill to Mon Tor. Just follow Google Maps.
