One end of the 177-mile National Trail. Pleasantly surprised that there is a metal plaque mounted on a boulder marking this fact. A few steps away is a cliff edge lined with fence and trees, but you can just get a view south over the River Severn.

Magnificent piece of engineering which is over 1200 years old 😁

Nice views but no long-stay parking for those starting a long walk and only a plaque on a stone. Some info about Offa and the walk and route etc. would have been nice. Very steep hill and final sign to the stone is missing. Underwhelming.

Magnificent ancient feature, though views of Bristol Channel no longer viable from start/finish

Finished the Offas Dyke Path from north to south. Great to see this final location after 15 days of walking. Now for the walk back to Chepstow.

Felt more uphill with not an equivalent amount of down (and I like climbing hills). Also a bit disappointed with the lack of views as mainly through forestry
