This was my first time visiting Snake Woodland, it's such a beautiful place. walking through the woods along the stream, great views on the hills. Would definitely recommend a visit. Car park is small, so get here early especially on a weekend.

The woodland itself is not that huge but you can make a nice walking circle in it. A trully wonderful, and a real thick with trees forest with a lot of green nature all around you! :) it have even a small/micro waterfall's near the main forest creek which is quite long. You trully can have a nice chill/relaxations, and great time with your family and friends :) to take some nice pictures as well. My verdict: 8.5/10.

Lovely place, peaceful and quiet. Too bad people do not respect the nature and yiu can find all sort of rubbish scattered here.

A great place to walk with great views of the beauty of the Peak District. Especially along the river, each section becomes more and more beautiful. An ideal place for kids and a dog, and anyone who likes mountain scenery.

Beautiful woodland to explore with miles of walks, streams and hills. Part of the Peak District national park. Plenty of amazing rocky areas around to climb/scramble and get the views and nice pictures. Great for families. Note some areas are out of mobile phone signal range.

For those who enjoy nature it is the ideal place, rivers, mountains, forests full of beauty and biodiversity, we chose a trail in the AllTrails app, we downloaded the map and that way we navigated using the gps even without a cell phone signal, the trails are not very well marked and it was essential to access the map.
The path has incredible beauty, it is very clean and you will find few people on the trails.
Undoubtedly a place with breathtaking natural beauties.

Just stayed a night here in the camper. Busy road during the day but nice and quiet after 10ish. Slept well.
Woke up in the morning and after a quick coffee and bacon sarnie, went for a walk along the stream in the forest. Stunning views!
No phone signal here at all.

Visited before sunrise, had a haunting atmosphere to it that's hard to beat. Would highly recommend the walk up Oyster Clough located nearby.
