Fantastic place for a brief walk or an all day hike. Beautiful panoramic views of the nearby communities and the sea. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I regularly go up on Highdown Hill covering approximately 4 miles each time covering different routes through depending on how energetic I am feeling that day. Walking round the hill you will take in great view’s inland and the coast. This is a great walk for novice walkers, dog walkers, runners, kids and many others I probably have not thought of.
There is great spot at the top of the hill for a picnic with the family as well as a picnic area near the car park. (Please ensure you put your rubbish in the bins and if they are full take it home. Otherwise the animals will have the rubbish everywhere and this ruins the site for everyone).
The car park is free and near to this there is the Highdown Gardens which is also free and there is a tea rooms just outside the car park.

Good views of the area. On a clear day you can see all the way to the seven sisters in one direction and to the isle of wight in the other. Lots of walks lead from this area. Also there is the Miller's tomb to visit as well.

A great walk up through the lanes & fields, enjoying the scenery as you go. The view from the top makes the trek worthwhile.

Absolutely lovely place for dog walking, picnics and birdwatching. Great views of the surrounding towns as well as the sea. You can see all of Brighton and even the seven sisters on a good day!

Fantastic views on a clear day. Bracing, blustery but beautiful. Nearby tearooms are great for a light meal and Highdown Gardens are stunning.
