My first time visiting here. I must say I was quite underwhelmed. Not much to look at and only a small amount of information on the site. There are features not in keeping with the age of the building including solar panels, plastic guttering and fresh brickwork. What was there was fairly interesting but I would like to have known more about the place. Maybe during an open day this would be the case?

Wonderful toured guide round Woking Palace today. Lovely setting and a beautiful sunny day. Guide was amazing, full history and loads of history facts. Great day 🤩.

Although it has more or less been demolished over the centuries it does have a very interesting history. Even the dogs enjoyed themselves there while we read about its past on a notice board. Looking forward to there being another open day in the not too distant future.

Walked down from Hoebridge golf car park (free) and 15min scenic walk to the Palace. Not sure if this was the best access as all private roads but barriers all open.

Free access to this ancient monument, not that easy to find as not sign posted.

Great place to bun. They say if you touch the palace at sunset you gain special powers. Improve the experience by listening to ‘Medieval Tavern Music’ on Spotify. Would pilgrim to this palace again.

Not well signed to get here, & I'm guessing the locals don't like visitors by the amount of no unauthorised entry & missing footpath signs.

Probably not worth a special trip for, but if you are nearby anyway then find a path through from the north side.

Ancient Monument ,home of King Henry VIII, now in ruins but moat and layout of palace still visible. Check out the online Woking Palace audio trail for full immersive descriptions of what it used to look like, complete with Tudor music.
