This memorial stands in the grounds of Canterbury Marlowe Theatre,In memory of the playwright and poet Christopher Marlowe in 1981.At the base of the monument is the inscription for Sir Johnston Forbes Robertson who was an English actor and Theatre manager. There are three more on the other side's of the monument which I did not photograph,Robertson is the one at the front he was one of the finest actors in the Victorian period,Born in1853 and died in 1937 in Dover.
