Planned a visit based on previous 3 and 4 reviews. A bit disappointed if I'm honest, the two in one gate format was interesting but only the inner smaller gate was able to open. Also large amounts of rust and some spikes missing on the top. Definitely potential for a 4 star gate but needs some TLC.

Beautiful historical walk around Loch Leven

Nice gate. Functional: contrary to a previous review, the outer gate opens and closes, but alas, only in one direction. Purpose of gate unclear.

It's a great gate. It opens and closes. You can walk through it in both directions

Top notch gate. Would give it six if it was an option.

Really enjoyed this gate. Would certainly make an effort to visit next time I’m in Kinross.

It's a short walk to get here from the Kirkgate park. The gate doesn't lead to much but a field. You will enjoy the walk getting here though. Dog friendly, but there are areas where they ask you to have dogs on lead due to nesting birds. The walk wanders in and out of sheltered areas so if it's a sunny day, be prepared. Keep an eye out for deer.
