Waterloo Monument

Hard to get a good photo from up here because they make it look flat. But the view is fantastic. Nothing to do up there, you cant access or climb the tower. But it's only a 15/20 minute walk from the carpark, steep inclines at the end (but our four year old had no bother).

The walk up there is lush, the views from the top are lush. I also love the fact you have to hire a key.

Great little albeit at times steep walk, also suitable for kids. Stunning views on a clear day. Parking at 55°31'54.6"N 2°33'45.5"W.

A hard walk up in the pouring rain but the view from the top is great wish we got the key to go up the tower too but still a great trip

Brilliant walk don't forget to get the key from the local council office so you can walk to the top

Impressive tower, well worth getting the key from the Estate office so that you can climb up the spiral staircase to the viewing platform at the top.

A great walk from Harestanes. Not too difficult. Well worth it for fantastic views.
