We parked at the bottom of the gallops and walked up to the windmill, £1 each for adults and children were free, this included a guided tour of the windmill which was beautifully restored. Tea, cakes and ice lollies were £4 in total what a bargain 😋

Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Family- & dog-friendly. £1 entry & £1 tours. Small coffee shop & gift shop. Very interesting tour from Jeff, who was an enthusiastic & friendly volunteer

Beautifully restored fully working windmill on the edge of the South Downs just north of Worthing. High Salvington Windmill is open to the public, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, every first and third Sunday from April to September You can take a picnic and have a tour. Dogs are welcome. Unfortunately there are no food or drink facilities here which is a real shame.

We will be coming back to visit on one of the open days to see the windmill working. It’s beautiful to look at, so striking!

Fascinating, well maintained, working windmill. Knowledgeable guides make the £1 tour of the mill an absolute must. Highly recommended.

Beautifully restored Windmill set in manicured gardens.
Open to the public between April to September,
First and Thrird Sundays each month, 1430-1700.
It's a short walk from Honeysuckle Lane car park or West Hill car park. There are car spaces on the road outside but only a few.

Was not sure what to expect but wasn't disappointed. Firstly tea/coffee and cakes from a van in the car park (yum), next time we'll take a picnic to enjoy the view from the car park. Then wandering up the windmill, tour of the working windmill was excellent. Climbing the steps up to view the insides of the windmill is not for anyone who suffers from vertigo.
