What a fantastic little park. Great for balance and coordination for the little ones. Would be. Nice area for picnic in dry weather and just off the walls its a great distraction before you complete the walls walk with little ones.

Me and my tall child didn't actually go to Thw Water Tower, but kicked it on the lovely wooden play area in the grounds opposite the bowling greens.
It was great! The whole play area is super well built and has a wicked game flow. My kid loved it and I had fun too :)
Good place to play of an afternoon in Chester. I parked by the Kop skatepark.

Teaters between a nice place to play with the kids and a rubbish strewn area with bushes used as toilets. Unfortunately it attracts people who don't respect their environment.

Just a stone's throw from Bonewaldesthorne's tower. This tower is just off the main public city wall walk, but can be seen clearly from the city wall and down in the Water Tower gardens where you can go right up to the tower. Quite a striking tower when seen from below.

Nice stop along the walls, great to learn about the history. Good place to take some good pictures when the sun is shining.

Another great day in Chester, not a lot of rubbish lying around here, and that makes a welcome change in itself. You can't fail to be enthusiastic about Chester, all the history and previous generations have made this a relaxing and stress free city.
Well done Chester.
Particularly the bus interchange, exceptionally clean, apart from chewing gum everywhere, and totally inadequate toilet facilities, but NO, broken glass, or Macdonald's garbage everywhere.
Wish Warrington could be like this.
Cheers.

Nice place to sit and unwind if waiting. A few dogs off leash and occasionally kids kicking balls around but not too obtrusive a.
