Liked: Loved this place, very clean quiet place with staff that can't do enough for you right from the 1st minute!
The new motorhome pitches are flat and in a nice spot.
Nice little walks on site, ideal if bringing a dog.
Nice big games room and a lovely cafe to get food and drinks, the breakfast was spot on!

Disliked: Nothing..

Liked: The grounds of the site were kept very neat and tidy. Was nice to have several different areas of seating. Lighting was good (which helped a lot when needing to get to the toilet during the night!)
The toilets and showers block was very clean - it was checked as well as cleaned on a daily basis.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The pod was very clean and nicely spaced out from other pods. Was very handy to have a fridge.
Beautiful location, nearby are fields with horses (lovely to watch in the morning whilst cooking breakfast!)

Liked: We stayed here to attend a festival, our only regret is not staying longer! The setting is beautiful, there are little paths and bridges along a stream, seating areas, a fire pit and bbq area. The showers and toilets are modern, clean and warm. The van pitch was even and grass well kept. The reception was also a little shop that sold amazing home made treats, coffee, alcohol etc. we could have even ordered home made food but didn’t realise, so would do this next time!
Can’t wait to come back!

This is a great place to stay. The site is in a great hilltop location with beautiful views.
I stayed in 'the nest' a very nice, private detached chalet that had everything I needed in it.
Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
There is a little shop/cafe/bar in reception serving take away food and great gin and tonics amongst other things!
I was made to feel very welcome and I will definitely be returning here. Thankyou all for a lovely stay.

Liked: Lovely site with lovely views. It was well maintained, the facilities (showers and washing up area) were spotless and the staff very helpful and pleasant. They had a little ‘hut’ where you could order food/drinks (menu looked great) or buy treats or essentials which was a lovely touch. The games room was loved by our 12 year old which had pool, table tennis and a tv with couch area. The weather wasn’t great but our stay was still enjoyable. We would definitely return.

Disliked: The only dislike was that we couldnt connect to the wifi. This was not essential nor did it spoil our stay.

Loved it here, beautiful scenery and the staff were great, Ellie at reception really helpful and the lady who cooks the breakfasts- thank you for the granola recipe! We stayed in the rose, it was really private which was great. Only suggestion would be maybe stock charcoal/kindling available to buy, we struggled to find any in town so weren't able to BBQ/fire pit and it would make money for you too! and maybe a bath mat for the rose bathroom, it's a big chilly room in October! Thanks for a great stay we'll be coming back

What a lovely place. We had a short stay as we were limited for time but basically cannot wait to go back. Firstly we were welcomed by the young lad in reception who was incredibly kind and polite. We came badly prepared but thank goodness for the snack shed and nice grub at a fair price. Lovely. Breakfast there also a great idea ordered the night before. All staff we encountered were lovely. The environment a beautiful location with loads of places to go to. Thank you Rossendale.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Site, landscape. Dog friendliness. Cleanliness. Ease of booking/ check in. Games room.
Fire pit area, although unfortunately the weather was too wet for us to use it.

Disliked: Slight dislike of men's toilet facilities. No hooks for towels etc over sinks. Shower water splashes onto anything on door hook. No fall on shower floor, so water does not fall into drain and floor left very wet when trying to dress.
Could not find a grey waste facility to empty grey water from van.
Driveways a little muddy and slippy.
These are not complaints, but just for your information for improvement ideas.
We really enjoyed our time there and would come back.
Thanks.
