Absolutely wonderful room and setting. Grounds are marvelous and are directly on Loch Ness. Abbey is well maintained. Swimming pool is great. Only minus is that it is self catered so if you run out of anything you are on your own.

We were met by a very friendly guy who gave us a very informative tour of the Abbey and our apartment. The place has such peaceful feel to it which is just what we wanted from our week there. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable. In fact the mattress felt like you were snuggling up on a giant marshmallow. The garden was an ideal spot to sit out in the morning with a coffee while deciding what adventure we were heading for that day. If you stay here you must get a take out from the Chinese in Fort Augustus. Unfortunately we didn’t have Fish and Chips but we spoke to people who regularly travel over 45 minutes to get them so they must be worth it. All in all a fantastic place to stay and a good base for so many beautiful places that the area has to offer. The owner was also very helpful and amazing customer service which sadly is not always the norm these days. We would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we will return again soon . 5/5
