My family and I had a great stay here. The Highland Club has converted an old monastery and boarding school into apartments but has kept a lot of the original features, so it's a fascinating place. Our apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. The Highland Club has a pool, steam room and sauna which we loved. The grounds are large and well kept, so great for a wander or a run about with my son. My son loved the outdoor play park, and I would have loved to use the tennis court but we ran out of time. We will be back for sure

The views were spectacular the service was excellent! Pictures do not do this place to Justice. If you were looking for a place to recharge your batteries in the middle of the highlands of Scotland, you have found it!!

Located just beside the Loch Ness.
It’s a Victorian style building with clock tower- looks great. We visited in November- the yellow leaves of the trees and fences during autumn makes the place looks magical.

Spectacular setting with all the amenities and exceptional on-site team! From check-in to check-out we loved our stay at The Highland Club. The pool, tennis and all other activities make a relaxing stay even more fun. The whole staff keeps the property in wonderful shape and is endlessly helpful with anything you might need. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous venue for weekend w friends, apartment was excellent, clean and well appointed, swimming pool a delight with sauna and steam room, cloisters magnificent. The scenery on the way in and out to Firt Augustus is stunning.
Great walking paths nearby, nice wee shops, loved the canal activity.
And 15 degrees C and sunshine in November?!? What's not to love!

The most amazing stay at The Highland club.

We stayed at the lovely Abbey Church 16 apartment. The accommodation was gorgeous with ample room with home comforts and even a welcome pack including cereals, Scottish treats & a bottle of wine.

The apartment had a view of the loch from both bedrooms, which was incredible! The setting was so quiet and peaceful and it was the perfect place to stay for a restful break.

The pool, sauna and steam room facilities were wonderful too - which were easy to book via the app and slippers, robes and towels were provided to use the spa facilities.

Every detail had been thought of in the apartment to make our stay so special! The view of the loch from our rooms was breathtaking and The Highland Club grounds were wonderful to walk around and explore and the Billiards Room was a fab place to spend an evening!

Fort Augustus is a great location for walks and we had a great fish and chips at the Loch Inn Pub & a wonderful tasting menu at The Lovat Arms.

Can’t wait to come back and visit The Highland Club again!

Ever dream of living in an historic Abbey!?! The Highland Club brings this dream to reality. Gorgeous accommodations with original features throughout the buildings. Be sure to walk the premises to appreciate all the club had to offer.

Spectacular visit to the Highland Club for Hogmanay. The views were breathtaking. The colours at this time of year, the deep reds, purple on the mountains with the snow were mesmerising. The monastery and grounds are beautiful both inside and out and it is well maintained. Great fun using the indoor pool and snooker room. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and inviting with luxurious touchs. Whilst checking in at reception we were offered drinks and snacks and then taken to the apartment where we received a large welcome hamper and gifts. I loved the toileteries, and learnt that they try to source everything locally. We felt really well looked after. Great trip. Thank you, official Highland Club!
