Large rooms, quiet part of Abby. Wonderful views of Loch Ness and the mountains surrounding us. Only thing was the 5 flights of steps, but since we are out all day it's only once to go up and down. Everything you need for a long holiday at this place.

Beautiful, large apartment in an incredible building, with fantastic views. This apartment has everything going for it. Located in a spectacular converted monastery at the very edge of the loch and in the town of Fort Augustus, it is difficult to find words to give justice to this holiday apartment. It is incredibly spacious and the views over the loch are second to none. It is fully equipped, clean, incredibly comfortable and well maintained - cooking a meal in the apartment is just has delightful as eating out, more so as you have the beauty of the loch to observe whilst at table. There is also a generous hospitality pack with teas, coffee and biscuits/crisps. My visit was in winter, the winter landscape is stunning - I went tobogganing - and Inverness is just a short drive away so don’t restrict yourself to summer months. I felt it was good value as the rates are lower in winter and it is a fabulous apartment.
