Lovely holiday cottage run by the National Trust. Highly recommend it. Not sure I understand the other review as it is self-catering and doesn't serve food or coffee!

Wonderful location at Fountains Abbey /Studley Royal. All the toilet seats that I tried needed their fixings tightened. The drainage from the toilet /basin /shower in the room I used needed looking into. The door of the very fancy fridge was so difficult to open that the fridge gradually migrated across the floor, and on one occasion a bottle of wine fell out of the very shallow bottle rack on the back of the door. Having said that, Fountains Abbey and its associated buildings are magnificent. Do visit Ripon Cathedral. Local walks are lovely, especially along the River Skell. I liked the Wordle window in Choristers '.

Had a fabulous few days. The house is lovely and warm, very welcoming. Love the walks at Fountains Abbey, one of my favourite places
