A warm welcome with tea and cake, and a cosy room with the most comfortable mattress followed by a great Welsh breakfast with bacon, sausage and black pudding from the local butcher and eggs from the hens in the barn! Thank you for the taxi ride to the Lake Vrynwy hotel for our supper.

We really enjoyed our week here. Its located off a bumpy track and adjoining the host's property. Very close to lake vyrnwy and a great range of walks, waterfalls and basic attractions in the area. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The house is well equipped and I'm sure the hosts would be very happy to lend anything else needed. The mobile signal in and out of the house is pretty much non-existent (O2 at least) and there is WiFi in the house, but a weak signal given the chunky stone walls. Make sure you arrive with plenty of shopping as the nearest decent supermarket is 30+mins away. There is a shop half a mile away for essentials. We would recommend and happily return again.
