Lovely house and grounds with a nice tea facility in a barn. I even managed to meet the owner who is also Lord Lieutenant of Devon. Not many occasions when you get to chat with the monarchs representative!!!

Interesting house, great guided tour, small but beautiful gardens and great cream tea!!
Well worth buying a season ticket for the garden £4.00 as a one off visit or £7.50 for the summer!!!!

My stay was short but truly amazing - quiet, comfortable, beautiful and I felt full of go.

I was intending to stay in the Fishermans Cot where we met our fellow ex-students for a Killertonian cricket match against Bradninch. However the Cot was full and I accepted the offer from a great friend of staying at the Park Wing of the mansion. I am shocked by the beauty of the place.

We love Fursdon. It's such a special tranquil place and the Fursdon family and everyone who works there are always delightful, friendly and helpful. Cream teas and cakes scrumptious. We always take the road past there on the way back from 'up country' .....even in the dark!

I cannot praise Fursdon House at all as I can’t afford the entrance fee. I’ve slept in grounds and outbuildings a couple of times but was off my head on solvents so don’t have good cognitive function.

I went through the tea room bins and couldn’t find a morsel , so this is a sign the food is edible or they don’t serve food.

I gave it 5 stars in the hope the staff won’t call the police the next time I visit.

Went for a afternoon walk about the grounds. Plesent and relaxing. Friendly staff. I did not like the 3/4 mile road from the main road to reach Fursdon House. Some really big potholes to avoid in the narrow lane.

Took my Mum for a birthday treat. Beautiful gardens in an idyllic setting. The views are sensational, looking far across the Devon countryside The cream tea is generous and delicious. I love it and will definitely be going again- regularly!
