Great place to stay, with easy access to Oxenholme Station and the M6. The Helm park is a short wall up hill and the Punchbowl pub a short walk downhill!

I've stayed here a few times over the years and have always had a fantastic experience. The cottages are in a great location: less than a 10 minute drive to Kendal but also very close (walking distance) to the closest pub and hiking trail.
The cottages themselves are well cared for and provide an authentic Lake District experience. There's also ample room for parking and facilities for electric vehicle charging (an external 3-pin plug).

We stayed this weekend as part of a 60th birthday celebration! The two cottages are brilliant for larger groups and the lodge is great for eating, celebrating and dancing! We hope to be back soon!

Couldn't be happier. We had 11 of us meet up for a well needed break. Originally booking before all the lockdowns Angela was super friendly and helpful and happily rearranged our trip twice without any question. There was plenty of parking (we had 6 cars and could have easily brought more). The rooms are lovely and a variety of sizes so you can fight among yourselves for the king en-suites as we did. There is a gas BBQ provided which was a great addition so we had a nice few evenings enjoying the get away from city life. The games room was a great idea, I would say the pool table is great but bring some of your own games as well if you're a bigger group, plenty of space to spread out and play 3 things at once.

Had a brilliant time here. Had a surprise 60th Birthday, with all family and friends. 14 staying in the 2 cottages, which were immaculate. Plenty of room for all. The large Lodge room was ideal for to gather and celebrate🥂🍾 .with 2 more couples staying just down the lane at the punch bowl, a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely use again.

This place is absolutely fantastic place . We spent Christmas there and had a fantastic time. Its clean plenty of room . The owners couldn't do any more for us . They made our Christmas a special time . I'll definitely be going back it's so relaxing
