Smugglers Rock House and Cottages

Lovely remote location on edge of North York Moors, lots of beautiful countryside and coast to explore between Scarborough and Whitby.

The B&B is lovely and looked after to a high standard with nice owners.

Key things I’m looking for in a b&b are clean rooms, nice warm shower and comfy bed! This place ticked all these boxes for me and the cooked breakfast was spot on too!

Fantastic accommodation in a great area to explore. Clean and very well equipped. Ample parking and very well set up. Friendly hosts with good communication throughout. We had 4 in our party plus 2 dogs. Would definitely recommend.

We are in a motor home and did not use the cottage facilities. The site is very good, clean tidy with well spaced pitches. Peaceful.

Friendly welcome, site was clean and tidy and level. Views over the countryside were brilliant. Lovely walks for 2 and 4 legged visitors.

Great location, well equipped cottage, amazing views. Owners very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in a cottage, our parents on the CL and son and partner in the B&b so think we sampled a bit of everything and can honestly say we were all very pleased! Everything was spotless. Lots of lovely walking nearby. Thank you!!!!

We spent a week at smugglers cottage during half term, our cottage was homely, immaculate, warm with space to chill. Sharon and Mike our amazing hosts so friendly. Unfortunately my Husband had a car accident on our four day and without the help and kindness from our hosts I don’t know how we would of managed. Thankfully he was only bruised and shaken (the car didn’t come away so lightly). Other holiday makers and David a neighbour were wonderful. We can not thank Sharon and Mike enough. Hopefully we will return but Highly recommend a visit. Thank You so much Mike and Sharon x

Had a great week's stay in one of the cottages. A perfect location for day visits in the area as its well situated with only a short drive to scarburgh, Whitby, flamingoland etc.
The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need to make the stay a pleasure.
Would recommend highly and will most certainly be returning again.
