Skybarn Farm Certificated Location

Excellent site. Good location for visiting Lincoln. Secure & very clean. One of the best toilet disposal points we’ve used. Excellent on-line booking & information. We cycled to Lincoln and borrowed the key from Nicola for the secure cycle storage at the Railway station which was good for us. Recommend the Roof Tour of the Cathedral & Browns Pie shop, great food and service. Easy walk to Nature Reserve.

Just returned from Skybarn Farm after 4 nights on this great CL. I would say one of the best we have stayed on. The pitches are spacious and level and fully serviced. The digital Guide Book was invaluable during our stay and had lots of useful information as did the information hut on site. We borrowed an Ordnance survey map of the area which helped us on our walks. The walks from the site are really good and thoroughly enjoyed by our dog Ted. There is plenty to see and do in the area and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thankyou Nicola.

We stayed for the second time last week having booked this trip when we were there last year as we enjoyed it so much. Nicola is a great owner who always catches up with you after arrival to check you’re happy with everything.
Access from the A46 is very easy although the proximity does mean that there is a little road noise which isn’t intrusive for us. It’s an open site, well maintained, overlooking a field with hares running around which were fantastic to watch. The walks from the site are good too.
The information hut is well stocked and there are lots of varied places to visit within easy reach. The red arrows have relocated to a nearby airbase and we were treated to a free display last year, practice ahead of an upcoming display.
We’re looking forward to returning next year.

Booked this lovely site for a couple of nights as we were visiting Lincoln. Easy to find with easy access and a smiling hostess Nicola to greet us. Richard paid us a call as well just to check everything was in order and to ask if we needed any help at all. Lovely spacious site with spacious level pitches which you can decide how you park yourself for your stay. Lovely flat walks around the farms fields if you have a dog and a nice bench to chill for 10 minutes on the way round. Information shed with a book borrowing service, a DVD collection you can use if you want and some chairs to use just in case you have forgotten yours. Rubbish bins for segregation and water and waste water at your pitch. Much more to read on the internet if you need to know more. Access and Exit is by electric code so safety is not an issue. All in all a lovely situated site 10 minutes drive to Lincoln with excellent host and hostess. Will definitely book again if in the area and highly recommend. Pauline & Carl Sheffield

This is our second visit to Skybarn and can confirm that the site is still every bit as good as the first visit. The site is absolutely immaculate and in a fabulous setting. Nicola gave a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and also popped along to say bye just before departure. For a site with fully serviced pitches the cost is an absolute bargain. An added bonus of the Skybarn app means you can plan visits to the attractions and places of interest in the area. All in all a 5 star site with 2 star prices. Well done Nicola and Team We will be back.

Fantastic CL in a beautiful location. Very easy access, straight off the A46 and down a quiet lane off the main road. The best pre-arrival information we’ve ever received. In the form of a very detailed digital Guidebook, all your questions are answered, giving you the confidence for when you rock up! We made some amendments to our booking which was very painless and the communication was outstanding. The pitch we stayed on (pitch 4) was very spacious and level for the ‘van and awning however a bit of a squeeze when including the car. You can park on the grass when unhitched so space isn’t really an issue. On this occasion we decided to not park on the grass next to the pitch due to the time of year and we didn’t want to turn it into a mud bath. We did notice other pitches/hard standings looked larger (mainly 1 & 5 but not sure of exact measurements). When arriving, we were free to pick any available pitch and shortly after getting the legs down, the lovely owner Nicola popped over to see us to make sure everything was okay (which it was). She also visited us prior to leaving and wished us a safe journey. Great little parking bay in the farm yard for visitors, which was immaculate. Bins and recycling area was very tidy. Chemical waste point, again clean and tidy with a hose. Small information hut had a wealth of leaflets, flyers and info on things in the local area. A great little DVD library here too! There was even insulated boxes you can borrow for keeping food warm or things chilled. I spotted a couple of cones in the hut which I assume can be used for motorhomes when popping out. Next door, a handy little rinse down point for paws and wellies. Phone signal was great (EE & Three) and we streamed TV all weekend without a problem. WiFi was okay, but wouldn’t rely on it for streaming, however fantastic for browsing, emails and WhatsApp etc. Lots of dog walks around the farm with a variety of routes. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome by Nicola. I can say with confidence that we will definitely return, soon I hope. Nicola and family should be very proud of their site, it’s such a gem.
