Just spent a long weekend here while visiting family in the area. A beautifully maintained site the owners deserve credit for. So peaceful. We stayed in the Newbrook Lodge.- lovely, accessible accommodation. Hardly saw or heard another soul all weekend! Never got a chance to see the facilities on site because we were so busy but I get the feeling we'll be back in the future. My favourite part of the weekend were the peaceful walks along the canal which you can access just a stone's throw from the site.

Sorry but the site is lovely but if you want entertainment on the weekend not always on I'm here with two other s in the bar at 8/30 not good if entertainment was on the place would be full. Don't know what's happening with the club. but it's like the management don't want the club to thrive

Beware - new owner desperately chasing ££££. Fees suddenly jumped up. I can fully believe within 3 years fees will have shot up to £7000. New owner is purging current van holders while simultaneously 'embracing' the 'local [affluent] community'. On site club was great but is now severely sub standard. There has been no help, sympathy or even pretend politness offered to owners who are simply in his way. By all means buy if you like, but buyer beware, on your own head be it.

AVOID Unfortunately a new owner has recently taking over and treating current caravan owners very poorly as they are unceremoniously told to leave. NO consideration has been given to current owners, NO decent notice to allow them to find a decent price anywhere - who's buying caravans in November? But make sure you're off by December or you'll be charged and your van will become the property of hmmm. . . . no idea. The whole industry is very minimally regulated but that's no excuse for joining the ranks of despicable human beings out there. Shame on him for causing so much misery and worry over the last few months. AVOID

Excellent little holiday park for privately owned static caravans, with one lodge available to hire. The location alongside the Shropshire Union Canal is ideal, being rural but only a short distance from the village of Brewood, about 20 minutes down the towpath. The site grounds are beautifully maintained, and the communal buildings include a bar, a small swimming pol, a small gym, and a laundry room. I like the different fields, each of which has its own character. The main field is ideal for families, with a small children's play area. Staff were friendly, happy to impart information, and couldn't do more to help. Caravans here are good value compared to more touristy sites, but the prime canalside plots are hard to come by!

Lovely site very clean and quiet. We stayed in the lodge which was perfect for us really clean and had everything we needed for our self catering stay. The surrounding areas have lots of places to visit so the location is great. Its right next to the village of brewood which was a nice walk an had a few pubs an shops. Only reasons I'm not giving 5 stars is the kids play area on the site was tiny I think it just had a swing on. Not the sites fault but because of covid restrictions we didn't get to see the bar or swimming pool on site.

We stayed here for the week 6/9/2021. We stayed in the Lodge with our Daughter and granddaughter. The lodge is beautiful well laid out and spotlessly clean. The bedroom are nice bright and airy with very comfortable beds. There is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. Bedding and towels are provided and they are beautifully white and clean. The kitchen and bathroom are well laid out. Every utensil you need is supplied. There is a oven and hob a fridge and even a dishwasher if your feeling lazy lol. The whole site is beautiful laid out and you can tell a lot of pride and hard work go into the site to keep it as beautiful as it is. There is a club house and small indoor swimming pool with our daughter and granddaughter loved. We visited the clubhouse on Saturday night and the atmosphere in there is great music is played at just the right volume that you can hold a conversation without having to struggle to hear what’s being said or have to shout to be heard. There are prize winning game’s played that are really cheap to enter. A Woman actually won £200 for the price of a £1 ticket. The staff and owner of the site are marvellous. Bar staff very efficient and polite. The choice of drinks are good. Try the Thatchers cider it’s gorgeous. There is absolutely loads to do in the surrounding area without having to drive to far. If you come with kids you must take them to Lower Drayton farm they will have a great time. There is nothing we could say negative about Oakland. Come along and find out for yourselves Regards Richard,Kerry,Megan and Ava-bear our granddaughter.
