We came this past week to Summerfields parkdean. It was amazing! We booked through hoseasons. The accommodation was so spacious, with 4 children it was great for us. All clean when we arrived. Park itself was lovely and clean, staff were so nice to meet. Very helpful. Beach is lovely nice places to eat nearby also the on site club does great food, drinks and entertainment. We loved our week so much we booked another holiday on our way home! See you August 2023. High recommend for a family holiday.

Overall it was ok for a short stay. The facilities you have to offer are really varied which I liked something for the younger and the older kids. The only few things I would say is this.. First of all when me and my family when to get settled in the chalets it was over run by ants! The friendly staff were quickly on it and did the necessary procedure. But they came Back throughout our stay. The chalets do need a complete revamp. The contents of them needs updating and brightening up. The kitchen again was very outdated not much provided in regards to kitchen utensils. And the last thing I would say is your tvs in the room need updated the signal to watch tv was awful kept cutting out. But other than that it was a lovely weekend.

Great week at Summerfields Caravan park. Very clean park with plenty of parking outside the caravan. Our caravan was a wheelchair friendly caravan and was superbly laid out and ideal for someone with mobility issues. The park is a short walk to a lovely beach which has some lovely local shops on route.

Highly recommend Thrigby Wildlife park and Great yarmouth dog track which are nearby.

The only thing that ruined a perfect 5 stars was the bedroom and living room had stained carpets and the main bedroom had two beds pushed together and the edges of the mattresses in the middle were very hard and poked upwards so impossible to sleep in the middle of the bed. Other than that it was perfect. We will be back.

Site was nice, we booked a bungalow/chalet as thought beds might be better. Mattresses were comfortable but double was only a 4ft bed which was very difficult to sleep 2 grown people so most of holiday we slept in separate rooms. Shower was tiny also so trying to pick up bottles from shower floor to wash hair and body wash was not ideal. Pool didn't open till 10 so no early morning swim. Didn't really see the entertainment but did go to bingo twice. Park was well kept, close to beach.

My annual holiday with my Dad, now I’m blind and I was a little put off when I called the park before my holiday to ask if it was a severely visually impaired friendly site though the reply was quite a little concerning “Maybe a blind persons holiday would be better” we had a nice time apart from a few issues Shower was like a slip hazard , upstairs in the boathouse wasn’t accessible and I think who ever did the disability act review was actually blind 😂 no electrically opening doors etc! The accommodation was ok and we are going back in a weeks time hopefully the next chalet is more user friendly for the blind and partially sighted.

Visited May 2022 had the best time, the atmosphere on camp is absolutely amazing and you can also pop to California cliff and use the facilities there as well as Summerfileds.
Will definitely be back had the best time! 😁

We had a lovely weekend at this resort, its not a big place - and unlike some of the other resorts we have been to, this one has a greater volume of chalet type buildings. Parts of the sites and perhaps the chalets as well are a bit dated and in places need a lick of paint, but it didn't spoil our enjoyment.

The site is a short ish walk to the beach (although you then need to also walk down some steps to get down to the beach). There is a couple of general stores and a bakery, but not loads else in between the site and the beach.

The site has an entertainment centre, and the kids loved the kids stuff with the Starland Krazy gang. There is also an amusement arcade, a swimming pool and a small soft play area.

We had a nice time here and wouldn't hesitate to come back again, although if we was coming in peak season we would probably be tempted to pick a site slightly closer to the beach. Great Yarmouth is a car journey away, although it is possible to get a bus from outside the site. I guess it all depends what you want yo get out of your time away!
