Liked: The site was lovely. We like to walk the canal system so this was just what was needed. We prefer to stay in caravans when we go away and the one we had was great. There is a nature reserve next to the site with a pond which is ideal for bird watchers. Would recommend this site.

What a hidden little gem this place is!
If you are after a quiet retreat then look no further.
Site is super secure. There are pubs with great food on the doorstep.
Management team can’t do enough to help.
If you are looking for a few quiet days away then it’s worth checking this place out.
Fantastic value for money too!!

Liked: Friendly staff, clean and well presented caravan. Full family had the pool to ourselves every day and kids liked the tennis facilities.

Disliked: No centre for night time entertainment for kids

First jacket potato raw and hard served with nice salad. Returned, replaced with another potato that tasted old and couldnt cut the outer as so hard and served with a tiny bit of salad. Disappointed

Liked: Caravan gorgeous, well equipped, grounds very well kept, very secure, tennis courts and free loan of equipment, great kids play park, safe cycling with kids around site and down the canal, close to great days out e.g Drayton manor, Warwick castle.

Disliked: Lots of rules about gravel on road, lack of clothes washing facilities, blunt knives, reception rarely open and opening times not in pack, swimming pool closed over October half term. Forgot to get second fob to get in and out on arrival so tricky when we wanted to do different activities.

We stayed at Kingfisher Holiday Park for a week long family vacation. The park is located in a beautiful and quiet spot by a nature reserve and a canal junction. The site itself is immaculately kept with great facilities. We found the caravan to be very modern and comfortable as well as in similarly immaculate condition as the rest of the site. Check in was swift and the hosts were friendly and welcoming.

The location was excellent for the purposes of our holiday, we visited Drayton Manor, The Black Country Living Museum, and Birmingham Sea Life Centre during our stay. All of these locations are a short drive from the park. Locally we visited Lichfield, which is a stunning cathedral city, as well as enjoyed walks along the canal to Alrewas. There is a charming pub right on the doorstep of the park that serves good food and drink. It's a great place to sit and watch canal life.

We very much enjoyed our holiday and would not hesitate to stay here again. As we were leaving our toddler age son said he was sad to leave, so it definitely received his approval!

I have had 4 fantastic seasons as a caravan owner at Kingfisher Holiday Park. It's a beautiful  park surrounded with trees and shrubs with a 5 star grading from the national tourism board.

It is a very secure site with barriers so random  people cannot just wander around the site. Caravan owners have key fobs and personally for me as I spend quite a lot of time  alone I always feel safe at the site .  There's separate secure visitor parking too, so parking has never been an issue. Another plus is The private entrance to the park so you don't have to drive along the side of The canal. The office is open 7 days a week and this is managed by the owner of the site and his family.  They also live on site so it's been reassuring to me that any issues will  be sorted very quickly.  The manager and staff are very friendly  and  go out of their way to ensure everything runs smoothly there.

The site has a great heated indoor pool, tennis court, crown green Bowling, a children's games room and on site  park, private entrance to Fradley lake, and an on site cafe.

We have stayed here twice. It is very quiet and family orientated, and a relaxing place to stay. There are no stag parties, loud music etc. just a very relaxed atmosphere. The caravan was clean and the site is a great base to go to attractions such as Drayton Manor. There is car parking and shops a short drive away.
It has been improved since last time we visited, as there is now an entrance at the back, which means you can avoid driving down the canal.
The owner is a nice guy, he let us book an extra night. I booked Alton Towers on the wrong Sunday (our family holidays are like National Lampoons Vacation) and this saved the holiday really. Would stay here again.
