Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Arrived at a pitch that was to small for our caravan and awning despite giving our details when booked in December last year. After two hours we was given a much nicer pitch in a quieter area.(we thought see further on)
The toilet, shower and washing up area were disgusting. As you walk into the ladies toilets you will find the Elsan point, this is often being used and not the best view or smell as you can imagine (maybe screen this off). There is often leakage from the Elsan point that you have to jump across to get to the ladies. The washing up area is directly opposite the ladies toilets which is not exactly hygienic.
Once on our pitch our neighbours had electric motorbikes and scooters which they drove up and down exceeding the speed limit endangering the children playing.
On three of the nights we stayed there was issues with guests and police and the on site security had to be called. The security on site was heightened after the third issue. When we asked security why this was happening we was told that a lot of gypsies had arrived on site and had caused trouble.
The swimming pool has green flooring as you approach this was constantly covered in hair, plasters and general debris not very hygienic. Some of the guests had no respect for the pool rules. Despite being whistled by the lifeguards they completely ignored them and carried on with their banned antics, endangering other swimmers.
Disposable BBQ’s were being used on the site laying on the very dry grass despite there being a heat wave and other sites in the area banning them (Haven)
If you are looking to book this site I would save your money and go elsewhere.

We had a nice week here. Lots to do for all the family. Lots of choice for places to eat and take away food. Park was clean, well kept and very big. Staff were all very nice and helpful when needed. Caravan we had was basic but comfortable and clean. 5 min drive to beach or regular buses if you prefer. Asda almost next door which is handy.

The camping pitches are small. 2 large tents together and the guide ropes would be touching. Toilets are dirty all the time and need revamping.. pot washing are also poor, you have to use small sinks in the toilet block so male and females can't wash pots together. No plugs in the sinks. The resort itself is good with plenty to do. The only way to have a nice experience would be to go in a caravan.

Liked: Good location, good restaurant and entertainment. Pool was good as was kids play park.

Disliked: No direction to pitch, ended up all round site. Toilet block a little used but obviously some campers just don't care and abuse. Need plugs for sinks.

Great park, facilities, swimming areas. Came for Nickelodeon weekend which was amazing value for money. The characters & staff gave 100% the whole weekend & kids have made some great memories. Accommodation was a Goose apartment which was well equipped, clean & very comfortable. Really nice mattress & pillows. Can’t wait for the next trip here.

Had a great time. Very clean park. Caravan was very clean and smelt clean upon entry. Staff very friendly and helpful. We visited on Elvis week and there was outdoor entertainment too, lots of holidaymakers dressed the part. Fairly close to town and seafront which is lovely, proper old fashioned holiday feel.
Great location, great to have everything together on one part of the park.
One downfall.... Fish & Chippers food on camp is awful!! Charged 7.49 for regular fish (no chips) and photos will show what I got. Pie was very dry. So I would avoid them but other food outlets nice.

oh my wow. this is the best (in my opinion) holiday park ever. in July (a long time ago I know) i went to this park and it was beautiful!! the caravan (i hope that's what it's called) was already clean for us. the golf carts were incredible, and the way the beach was near it too made it extra cool! parking was so easy, and all the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend as they have different size caravans too and in different shapes, you could even have one looking like an apartment! the indoor facilities (like the thunderbolt chicken and that ice cream area) were amazing. the bathrooms were a bit squished but that's alright. GUYS IM TELLING YOU, THIS IS THE BEST HOLIDAY PARK. COME HERE!!!!!

edit: there are also shops nearby, so you can buy groceries here too.

I booked a caravan (Falcon) at Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth for 4 nights during September 2022 and decided to pay for a more luxury caravan at £120 per night.
Shortly after arrival we noticed the toilet seat was broken in the en-suite bathroom, soon after we saw huge cobwebs on the Fire Extinguisher and kitchen cupboards. Obviously all caravans are meant to be cleaned and prepared before new arrivals. Unfortunately with hanging cobwebs and a broken toilet seat you can only conclude that our caravan was not cleaned and checked before our arrival.
With this in mind we decided to clean all the surfaces ourselves to make sure it had been done and for our own piece of mind. Not the start you expect for your holiday! As we cleaned the surfaces more problems were then spotted, the cupboard doors were damaged, the oven door didn’t close properly due to a broken latch and the rubber seals were coming away. The oven extraction lights were not working and another bulb had blown elsewhere. Added to this we had mix and match furniture and no coffee table!?
I reported the broken toilet seat and cobwebs to reception early the following morning as we had arrived later than planned the previous day. I explained the situation to the receptionist, who took notes and said this would be passed on. During our stay nothing was done to rectify any of the issues that we highlighted to reception. We also received no communication back during the stay!
When checking out I made the point of our total dissatisfaction of the caravan and the fact nothing was done to resolve any of the issues that had been raised. I said I would report everything to the Parkdean Resorts CEO, which I did.
Following my email to the CEO I received a reply from the Customer Relations Team and another reply from the Guest Experience Manager both on 23rd September. I was offered apologies and a refund of £100, with everything that was wrong with the caravan I didn’t consider the refund offer to be enough so I requested this to be increased to £200, which was declined. Unfortunately receiving the refund was more than difficult, I had to make several phone calls chasing the refund. I was told that they had no record of my account details to pay the refund too me. This even though I had read the details out on three occasions and each time the person I spoke to read the account details back to me!? The refund eventually arrived on 24th October 32 days after my email to the CEO.
I have previously stayed at Vauxhall Holiday Park before without any problems, unfortunately on this occasion Vauxhall failed miserably to offer value for money or a standard that they clearly advertise. There was no customer service shown on site after reporting the issues, to this day I have never been offered an explanation to why the standard of this caravan was so poor and the challenges to obtain the refund was embarrassing, to say the least.
Overall totally disappointing and a lost customer for the future..
