Interesting venue but initial service was a little weak when they sat us in the walkway tables given there was space elsewhere. They also don't know how to make a Bloody Mary which was peculiar given how extensive the bar collection was.

We recently purchased a dining table from the store, their commitment to customer service is first class. J Hall

Excellent food, was the nicest Xmas food I have had this year so far. Was busy and they found us a table. There were loads of spare tables after all but we were left in the main foyer and it was draughty.
However I really would recommend this for the food alone. Service is a bit slow, but we'll worth the wait.

Ate here for a late lunch without booking. The food was good, with a decent range of vegan and gluten free options. Service was fine, coffee decent quality. Nice decor and quite a relaxed vibe. All in all a good experience

Booked in advance advising table required for two people and taking two well behaved dogs. The manager herself greeted us checked our booking and proceeded to sit us at a table located essentially in the corridor where the food was brought out the kitchen and people coming out of the shop constantly walked past. Not covid compliant for any social distancing. Our meal was ordered however the drinks were slow to arrive and my husbands pint never even arrived. Tables were left dirty and I raised this with the manager on leaving but with minimal response other than one word of sorry.
Food nice service rubbish.

A real shame we didn’t get to experience The Emporium, the website looked really promising and being dog friendly was a real added bonus. We were visiting the area on a UK staycation in the middle of August, and found this place as a great looking option for some breakfast. Used the online booking system and booked for 9am (we booked 2 days in advance). Drove from our cottage which was a 20 min drive only to be told when we arrived they didn’t have sufficient staff to do breakfast (could have a coffee though). Would have been good to have a message, or something on the website or social media that informed us of this.

Took my lovely kids to eat. Great character to the place and great food. Service was spot on and the manu had a variety of food for all ages.

Parking is a little hard to get as its on street pay and display.

Really dissapointing food, tomato & red pepper soup was tasteless, adding salt and pepper didn't make it any better! The lack of flavour ran throughout everything we'd ordered, the surroundings are lovely but the food was not!
