Dunelm

I love Dunelm especially this time of the year. Nice to pop in and have a cuppa & a nice slice of cake in the coffee shop. In store toilets are a bonus as it's never a quick visit in Dunelm. Staff always look grumpy but are always very helpful.

Queues long but not all tills mentioned.
Would buy more stuff but some of the aisles are too narrow for shopping trollies to go both ways. Good parking right outside but recommend that you avoid busy times like Saturdays if you want to see the goods on offer.

I was looking for extra long curtains in Dartford branch, Lucy was extremely helpful and went above & beyond trying to help - going upstairs bring different curtains down to show me. Great customer service Lucy 👍

Great prices. Excellent selection of home stuff. Queue to pay always long at the weekends but still a very enjoyable shopping experience.

Store very good but be careful as parking is limited to one and half hours. After buying over £200 in store and eating lunch we left not realising parking limit. A fine came through sand we were given half a day to sort at lower charge, no time to think or object so we paid. Dunelm we’re not prepared to help as find had been paid. BEWARE OF TIME LIMIT.

Today I had my first visit to this store, as I walked in a young man approached me and said ‘You alright mate!’ I was a bit taken a back as he sort of pounced on me. I did not know if I knew him, if he was overfriendly or he had been drinking. After a few moments of looking around I realised he was there to help people. He had no people skills. I was
Impressed with the selection in the shop and impressed that they had thought to put someone on the entry but I felt they had made a big mistake in their choice or needed more training. I looked around for a supervisor or manager to share my personal thoughts but there was no one noticeable and I did not want to share my thoughts with a colleague. When I came out I thought I would phone the store and share my view. The first call rang out until it told me no one was available, the second call a gentleman asked what I wanted and I said could I speak to a manager as I had just visited the store, I was put on hold until I rang off several mins later. I did not want to give a bad review so I thought I would e mail, there is no options to e mail a complaint/ helpful feed back. Seems poor Customer service comes from the top.

Thank you Amelia at Dunelm Dartford for sorting out the return of curtain poles and curtains. Amelia also helped me obtaining new ones with such patience. A future manager I think Dunelm! Great people skills too!

First time shopping at Dunelm and will never shop here again. We bought made to measure curtains. Spent over a grand and the service was appalling. No updates on when they would be in by. We had to chase them and when the curtains were in we was told 1 of the sets was not there as they was in the Oxford branch. Waited 5 weeks for these which was much longer than we expected so could not move into our new house as had no curtains. We was very shocked of this service. Would not be recommending
