what amazing service at this store. Nothing was too much trouble for Stuart who assisted with the return and purchase of a microwave oven. he was so helpful and resolved the issue all with a smile !

Sitting in the garden listening to paired speakers which light up and produce a great sound and someone asks where did you get these... Cheap, cheerful but useable. Great staff and products.

I NEEDED SOME ADDITIONAL TREE LIGHTS, THE SAME AS I BOUGHT A FEW YEARS AGO.
I LOOKED ONLINE, OPENING THE WEBSITE FOR "ROBERT DYAS MAIDSTONE." I FOUND THE LIGHTS THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, KNEW THEM TO BE GOOD QUALITY AS I HAD HAD THEM PREVIOUSLY, AND WAS PLEASED TO SEE THAT THEY HAD THE WORDS "IN STOCK" FOR THE PRODUCT.
NOT WANTING TO PAY AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR DELIVERY, I TRAVELLED INTO TOWN, GOT TO THE SHOP, AND NOT FINDING THEM ON THE SHELF, ASKED THE ASSISTANT.
I WAS TOLD THAT THE WORDING OF "IN STOCK" ON THE PAGE, MEANT THAT THEY HAD THEM IN STOCK, BUT AT THE WAREHOUSE, NOT IN THE SHOP AS THE WEBSITE IMPLIED.
THE ASSISTANT OFFERED TO ORDER THEM AS CKICK AND COLLECT, WHICH WOULD MEAN ANOTHER TRIP INTO TOWN ANOTHER DAY, BUT WHEN I SAID YES PLEASE, THE ASSISTANT WAS UNABLE TO ORDER THEM BECAUSE THE COMPUTER (OR SYSTEM) WAS FAULTY.
WASTED MY TIME GOING TO TOWN, SO WENT HOME DISAPPOINTED.
CAN'T FAULT THE ASSISTANTS FOR TRYING THEIR BEST, BUT R.D., IF YOU MONITOR THIS, YOU HAVE A DISAPPOINTED "CUSTOMER", (OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN).
TIME TO GET YOUR SYSTEMS AND WEBSITE IN ORDER.

Spectacular service at the till by Trudy
Who knew I needed glue?!!

A very happy guy called Stuart welcomed me into the store saying… “if you need any help just come and find me” of which I did.
Overall
Store was amazingly tidy and stocked, and I felt a good vibe with happy laughter within the staff members and customers.
I will definitely return to the Maidstone store as I was very impressed.

Well done Robert Dyas. Especially Trudy and Stuart for making me feel so welcome

We really do applaud the staff for going the extra mile to help us when we had a problem with a transaction recently. So friendly & obliging & really understood our dilemma which Trudi was willing to rectify for us. Such personal service is hard to find these days but well done Dyas Maidstone for bucking the trend! This beats shopping online well done & thank you very much! The way the birds are devouring the seeds another visit to the shop will be necessary before long! We’re sure you’ll keep up this excellent service!😊👍

Terrible customer service. I went in store to pick up a click and collect but ended up walking out due to an extremely rude sales assistant. I just asked them as the price has been reduced further if there is a way I could return and purchase again but the sales assistant went off onto a long rant about how unethical that is, how they would not have a business and how it is not how retail works. I replied and said I only asked a question to which he responded I am the 5th person to ask him today. I decided to walk away as I am not dealing with with a rant when I only asked a simple question! Definitely will not be going in store again!

Very well stocked and displayed. I had no trouble finding the items I required and my enquiry at the till was answered with enthusiasm. In fact, the young man at the till was so informative and interesting that I managed to help him with a supplier of unusual car parts. It's a shame that i have to travel to Maidstone all the time as we DON'T HAVE A GRAVESEND STORE In fact we don't have any worthwhile shops left at all. All of our hardware stores have closed down

Always great staff and service at Robert Dyas in Maidstone. I bought a Christmas present here for my son back in November but he only realised last week that I'd bought him completely the wrong items. Took them back expecting the staff to say it was too late to change them, but they went out of their way to put things right and get them replaced with the correct items, all within a week. Saved me from wasting my money and my son's now speaking to me again! Thanks a lot to all of the staff at Robert Dyas for being so understanding and helping me sort out the problem. Much appreciated.
