Homebase - Godalming (including Bathstore)

Needed a loo seat and it was in stock, but on the mezzanine level, not helpful for me as I have a bad knee.

Staff were few and far between and the one I did ask a question to was a bit snappy and off hand. Expensive to boot.

Why is the customer toilets not open to the public, in case Homebase @ Godalming hasn't been kept updated, covid is now something we all have to learn to live with. So stop acting so stupid & now open your customer toilets please.

One of the few general stores that its possible to find things you need.. if its useful they have it... not easy to find anything unless you know store layout ( but thankfully they don't change stuff around just because they can) ( unlike Supermarkets).. Not sure if I prefer Homebase or B&Q.. but generally make my purchases from Homebase.. I do compare prices.. & still end up at Homebase.. think B& Q have bigger range.. Am happy that both are still trading & long may they do so... Thank you Homebase & B&Q.

No one would answer the phone for over 1hr. Ind the end traveled over 30 miles hoping the paint I wanted was still in stock , could not click and collect as it was a sale item , the male staff member who opened the checkout as there was 8 customers waiting, was not helpful at all to a old lady in front of me , and all I got was £80.30 no please. Won't be going there again

Went in to get a paint shade mixed. Very prompt service. Also bought a couple of other things didn't realise I needed! Really like Homebase for their variety.

Lots of interesting things for Christmas. Clean tidy and pleasant and helpful staff

Pretty average if you want paint and one service till open. Didn't have any paintable silicon so I was in and out. Good selection of Christmas trees, decorations and lights.
