I previously got my wisdom tooth removed by a student and I was very happy with my experience. However, I was told that I would need a referral for my other wisdom teeth. I have called the hospital many times and I was told that they would give me a call back for the referral but they didn’t call me. After the first time they told me that they have sent an email, I called them again and they said that no one has sent an email so they’ll send an email. This has happened 3x now and I can no longer get through to their line. I have called them every single day since 2 weeks now and the line just keep failing. I am extremely disappointed especially because my experience of them removing my first wisdom tooth was great. I am suffering with extreme pain and I might give up with this hospital as I have been waiting around 5 months for a referral.

Hi I am Isma Mubarak and I am very disappointed on my treatment. I had my 1 wisdom tooth removed under LA in December 2021. Ever since I’ve been experiencing seeing blood when I spit and yesterday I went to get it checked out. They took X-ray then cleaned all my teeth. They put LA on my lower right back side of the mouth. They put LA on that same side 7 times. Then cleaned again but while cleaning the slit my tongue from 3 places. And blamed it on me that I wasn’t controlling my tongue. I couldn’t physically control my tongue and didn’t know where it’s going as I right side was all numb. I think it’s the student job was to control my tongue. He didn’t even apologise and wasn’t admitting that the fault is from there side. I was in so much pain and my side of face was swollen. The student said the pain will go in few hours and swelling will disappear as well by the end of the day. My pain is gone but I still have swelling and it’s numb on that side. So, basically the student caused me a Hematoma. I am very disappointed in my treatment and I was there 4 hours.

Called the paediatric emergency number today as their website says you have to call, you can't turn up. After calling 76 times i finally got through to a rude receptionist. I asked if i could bring my daughter in and she cut me off to say "no this is not a walk in Centre!" She then asked what the problem was, i started to explain and didn't even get half way through when i was cut off again and told "we're fully booked today, you'll have to call on Monday between 9:30 and 12:30". Because everything can wait till after the weekend apparently.
If they're fully booked it would be nice to lead with that instead of asking what the problem was and then cutting me off when i begin to explain.
My advice to anyone is avoid this place! Go to Guys & St Thomas dental hospital. Everyone there is professional and polite and you're treated like an actual human being rather than an inconvenience.
Shame on you Royal London. Sack your receptionist!

I went to the right floor. Was sent down and then back up again lol. How are you so disorganised and don’t have the right information?

The two ladies working the first floor reception are rude as hell. If you don’t like your job, leave! Simples, saw a guy complain to the manager about the same women today.

These receptionists act like they’re being forced to work, babes you can just resign if you hate your job so much. Their attitude stinks and ruins your own attitude and day.

Apart from that, the dentist/nurse who saw me were the highlight of the appointment, lovely people.

It’s a shame that front desk people are what ruins the image of the place.

Pointless having a booking system that does not work. I was down as an urgent referral and had my 2pm slot booked. I left at 3:40pm without being seen. I had to re-book and next available dates are months away so avoid at all costs… shambles!!

This is the best dental hospital in London I have to say. Our daughter have an appointment this early morning for her dental operation. All of the staffs, receptionist, nurse & doctor are really welcoming friendly and so so kind. They give us the feeling close like family, very caring for my daughter and all other childrens.
Thankyou Paul , Kat and Sarah , we're much appreciate with what you did for Sophie today ❤️❤️❤️

Went to the Royal London Dental Hospital today, terrified! - No need what so ever, they were the best dentists I have ever had. Absolutely brilliant. Waited 2 years for appointment but that’s not the dentists fault. Looking forward to going back for further treatment. Kind, caring, patient and extremely understanding, can’t praise or thank them enough.

I’ve been trying to get through to the hospital for the past few weeks but nobody seems to bother answering my calls. And they are the ones that say that we need to let them know if we can’t go in for the appointment. So disappointed! What choices do I even have at this point?
