Ysbyty Abergele, Stanley Eye Unit

Cataract surgery on right eye, I was so apprehensive and worried but I could not have been in better hands. What lovely reassuring staff at the Stanley Eye Day unit so professional and caring. Can't thank the team there enough.

I didn't know the place was open again, they never, "contacted me soon" as stated 21 months ago. They still don't answer the phone, Low hanging fruit, fire fighting typical NHS Wales site. My eye care taken over by Boots.

My husband was seen straight away. Staff were friendly, put you at ease. Sorted his eye out. Couldn't believe how quick they dealt with patients here. He was waiting hours at glan clwyd a and e the night before.

Had to attend an emergency appointment first thing. Was seen straight away. Staff very professional and young doctor I saw, polite and took his time. A good experience all round.

Brilliant hospital and now tea bar gas reopened it's even better

The most amazing Surgeon & Nurses, Mr Ng has been beyond brilliant trying to restore my sight in my right eye & the nursing staff are just so kind, I’m very lucky to be there

It is difficult to get there if you cannot drive due to expecting eye treatment. Taxi is the most reliable way from Abergele station

Visited twice, staff caring and considerate,special mention to dr Sharma, who I seen 4th Jan, got letter today for my pre op on 21st feb would recommend this eye hospital,
