My Mother Doreen received excellent care on ward 3. The staff were approachable and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them they were kind and considerate
My Mother received palliative care and they got every aspect right. She was treated with dignity, it meant alot that the nursing staff kept her pain free. My sister and I are extremely grateful to all the staff involved in her care. They also ensured my sister and I were comforted at a difficult time. Thank you ward 3 from the twins.

Cannot fault the care I received at the hospital today. Although quite a long wait to see a doctor the team there were great caring and observant of people's need. Coffee came round and being diabetic I was given soup and a sandwich shown nothing but kindness even though they were very busy. Doctor called Tom was great and explained everything to me and put me at my eathank you all you were first classse.

I am giving one star as not possible to leave none. My mum was admitted via ED last week and went to AMU after about 30 hours. Despite being confused and the OT saying she would ensure my mum was not discharged until care was in place she was sent home as they needed the bed. MRI was done of wrong part of spine and they failed to check her urine to diagnose her UTI. Today she rang the ward to check on her partner whom she can no longer look after as sole carer and was told he will be discharged tomorrow and to ring social services herself if she thinks they need help. This should be a standard assessment and referral prior to discharge in order to prevent readmission. They actually told her they need his bed! It is clear the reason for the lack of beds is the lack of discharge planning!! I feel so sorry for the mainly lovely staff having to work in such chaos with such poor processes. It is very sad as YGC used to be good 🥲

Emergency visit with our 8 yr old son at the end of our holiday. Went through 111 who advised us to take him. Staff were friends and helpful. The nurses we had on the ward where he was admitted were brilliant, answering questions and making my son comfortable. They were very considerate of our personal circumstances at the time. A big thank you to all the staff on Rupert ward 17, children's ward.

Amazing care for me and my son. He was just born and while birth the staff were very friendly. My son had a breathing problem I rather not say but he sadly died. They comforted me the whole way through morning. Thank you so much.

I recently attended the fracture clinic and I was extremely impressed by the high level of service I received. I was greeted with warmth and efficiency where I felt nothing was too much trouble. Despite being a busy clinic, the staff (In particular a staff member in green who calls your name out) made me feel I was the only one. Well done to all of you who work extremely hard and yet still find the time to smile under so much pressure. Thank you x

Excellent service yesterday, I was seen within 10 minutes and wound was checked, dressed and x-rayed within 30 minutes.
I was hooked up to an antibiotics drip and given tetanus shots within an hour and a half.
My wound was thoroughly cleaned, stitched and redressed in around 3 and a half hours. Not once was I left alone for longer than 10/15 minutes or made to feel like I was a hindrance or forgotten about. The longest wait I had was for medication at the end, which wasn’t anything to complain about because I was happy the doctors and nurses had saved my hand, thank you very much NHS

Shocking experience to say the least! Dr and nurses keep saying two different things really contradicting one another diagnosing my 5 year old son wrong

Ordered a cheese and onion buttie but came plastered with mayo what I do not like so waste of money but never mind the money could have been catastrophic if had allergy

Then the vending machine swallowed £3 fuming with the experience definitely go anywhere but here if you can help it
