Bay Field Hospital

Had to go for an urgent blood test today. Rang at 9AM for an appointment and was given one at 10AM. I arrived 10mins early but was allowed in anyway as they had a space. Very efficient handling of patients observing all the necessary safety precautions. I was escorted to one of the test areas and explained the routine and route when I had to leave. Despite the immense pressure they must be under all the staff were very friendly and made me feel completely at ease. This is very important to me as I have a phobia about needles and can get totally freaked out if I am stressed in any way.
They were all wonderful

All the staff are 1st class it's just a pity it's so hard to get the telephone number.would think when looking up bay field hospital the first thing you should see is the phone number never mind other than this the service is excellent

My grandaughter was having her first covid vac. She was very nervous and within minutes the nurse had her smiling. The nurse who gave her the vaccine was very reassuring. First class, reassuring friendly, confident staff. Thankyou very much.

Sign posted clearly, ample parking. Staff around if unsure of anything, a very quick turnaround from when you arrive. They do ask you not to arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, which really helps how quickly everyone is seen to. The nurses are lovely and patient.

What a good and efficient setup! I went for a blood test 8:40am this morning. It was easy to find, very clean hospital and the staff were amazing. Despite me arriving 5 minutes late, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Keep up the good work! Thank you 🙏

Absolutely brilliant, thank you to all NHS staff who are working tirelessly to get us all through this pandemic. Had my first Pfizer jab and the procedure was incredibly well organised. Staff were excellent.

Pfizer covid vaccine today. Excellent, quick service, friendly, well marked out, plenty of signs. Made to feel safe from start to end. Thank you to all staff who make this possible.
