Absolutely loved my stay here! It was a lot more modern and high quality than what I was expecting. The host is very friendly and helpful. Dinner was absolutely delicious! And the beds were really good - exactly what I needed after a day hiking. Would definitely stay again, maybe even as a base for trips in the area!

Florrie's On The Wall was simply amazing. They were welcoming from the beginning and the rooms were spacious, clean, and bright. The food and drink were also lovely, especially dinner after a long day of hiking! But the real hero of this accommodation is the shower... SO BIG AND SO BRIGHT!

Best place I stayed on the wall.
The whole village was welcoming. The rest of the wall lacks any friendly settlements, but here the church was open, there was a rates room in the Village Hall, and on Friday evening, a pup at the brewery near the Old Vicarage. Florries was welcoming - my suitcase was already in my room when I arrived (other places left it in reception for anyone to pick up), there was a good choice of evening meals, and filter coffee with breakfast.

Food was reasonably priced and excellent. Hosts were exceptional, rooms were clean and modern. I've stayed in lots of hostels and this one rates as outstanding

This is a great place to stay! It is right on the wall which makes things easy. Rebecca, Jose and Poppy are wonderful hosts. The facilities are new, comfortable with lots of hot water and water pressure for that much needed shower. Our hosts have a great dinner menu and bar as there aren't really any places to eat in the area. The bag lunch was great. Also had many Gluten Free options. Even a friendly visit at our room window from the neighbouring donkey. Watch for the blue bicycle. Book early! The rooms fill fast :)

My son and I stayed here for 1 night whilst walking Hadrian's Wall, we couldn't fault the accommodation. Florries is right on the walk, so you don't have to make a detour to get to it. We were welcomed by the owner who offered to take our boots to the drying room, and shown to our room. The room has everything you need, and a lovely big walk in shower. We had dinner there which was lovely and tasty at a reasonable price, we also had a couple of beers from the bar. Breakfast was very good, we had cereal, tea/coffee with a full English. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou florries.

The room was clean and warm. The food was excellent, the hosts were friendly and the communal room was great and a good evening was had with other travellers. Also licenced for alcohol

Absolutely loved Florries. It was the perfect stop for my partner and I after a long day walking Hadrians Wall. The bunkhouse was very clean and comfortable. Joss and Rebecca were lovely and took very good care of us. We were the only people staying that night and they still cooked us both separate meals. Then we has a gin and tonic and hung out in their lounge playing some of the games they had out. I highly recommend Florries for any walkers or anyone in the area. It was my favourite place we stayed for the whole walk.
