Friendly reception even at 23:30. Single was a room with bunk bed, fine for the one night before an early start to catch my Ryan Air flight at 7:05. Sure it is good for the young at heart, who just want a bed for a couple of nights. Usual crowd are likely to be students/ backpackers looking for budget accommodation.

Very strange man who made a fake smile on arrival and he straight away turned us away and said it's ONLY for backpackers. I had an online option that could have made me book this place however it didn't mention anywhere at all on private room that it is for backpackers. A close family member passed away and wanted to find accommodation close by since we have big family gathering during this hard time. I d be careful if I were a black person going for this accommodation.

Great little hostel in lovely village (in now Harlow) with great pub on doorstep and lovely staff. Would recommend using as a base if down these ways for a few days.

I was thrilled to find a perfect, clean, quiet and well appointed room. The owner could not have been more helpful and I got loads of work done and arrived fresh and well prepared for my job interview the next day. It was only £35 for a single room. The bed was absolutely 5 star hote quality as were the perfectly pressed sheets. Tbh I’ve never in my life stayed in a hostel before and the Harlow International must surely be one of the best around. Why would anyone go to a hotel when places like this exist. The Rec room was well appointed and there is a really lovely outdoor area with lots of space and picnic tables. Shower was hot and easy to access from my room. It was super quiet too. All in all it was easy, comfy and I cannot think of anything I would change. 🙏🏻thank you!

The owners were very welcoming despite us reaching there very late around 22:00 hrs for a night's stay and leave for the Airport around 05:00. The place is a small quaint cottage and our rooms and the common bathroom was very neat beyond our expectations! Wish we stayed here longer to appreciate the calmness the surroundings offered, but would highly recommend this place for a modest stay in a rooted cottage and some warm local benevolence!

Good Value for money. Richard and his wife exhibited hospitality by a making sure their guests are comfortable.They own me and others who were staying there just like members of their own family. I highly recommend it for short and long-term stays.
