I stayed here for 4 nights.
Pros: Bathrooms are clean, lounge is cool and good to stay (except for rats, see below)
Cons: I saw rats in the basement lounge area at night. The rooms are too hot to stay during the day. Also, it can get smelly. Finally, the staff can get quite rude and unfriendly. The receipt they gave me had the wrong checkout date (one day extra), and I made the mistake of not double checking. I had left the room early on the morning of the checkout date, and when I came back, they had cleared the bed and misplaced some items I had on the bed. Then the receptionist gave absolutely no help in looking for the missing items, and said it doesn't matter if the checkout date on the receipt was wrong, the customer should check the right date. I mean fine I made a mistake, but what kind of customer treatment is this? At least try to look for my missing items?
I wouldn't recommend this place, it would ruin your holiday plans

I enjoyed my stay here. The clerks were really nice, and there is a laundry area where you can wash and dry a load of clothes for like £5. I think the only thing I would flag up is the guests- one night, there was a man that got extremely belligerent who my roommates and I heard in the halls. I think the management handled it well, but just be aware that there are some guests that can act a bit odd at times. The room was clean, the storage areas are sufficient and the lounge areas were nice.

I would not recommend this hostel… On the first night we saw a mouse in the hang out/kitchen area and beside that the hang out area was limited to a small and old couch so you couldn’t really sit comfortably anywhere.
The room was also extremely hot so you couldn’t really spend much time in there unless you were sleeping and even then it was almost unbearable. Also at check-out you had to pay if you wanted to leave a bag there for a few hours, I haven’t experienced that at any other hostel, neither have I experienced that you need to dress and undress your own bed, that is usually included. I will say though that the staff was friendly enough and the location was good!

Overpriced for what it is. Wouldn't recommend.

The staff are varied about their customer service and quite a few are simply rude. My bed was cleared during my stay and I couldn't find some important stuff like my phone charger. I'm lucky enough that i could leave a day early and not have to travel too far because that did make me uncomfortable.

The bedroom bathroom smelt like urine and was quite old (always wear flip-flops). The beds aren't clearly numbered. The plug sockets in each bed look like a fire hazard and the lift moves like a death trap.

The bed was practically kissing the floor they tried to cram so much in a room. This isn't a normal hostel. I've stayed in many across the world but I wouldn't touch here again.

I stayed in a private twin room for one night on a business trip. I've stayed in lots of hostels and when I was backpacking it probably would have been luxury. The room was fine, though little things like there being a TV remote and no TV, the toilet roll dispenser was right where your head would go if sitting down because the loo was so close to the wall, the paint job in the bathroom had left drips down the walls. Nothing drastically wrong, just showed a bit of lack of care. The staff looked and acted thoroughly bored when I arrived, half asleep lounging across the front desk on their phones. I was woken up by a noisy car outside the window at 4am.
But for a night it was fine, the bed was comfy, it was clean, the location was great. I'm not desperate to go back but I wouldn't mind if I had to.

Stayed 4 nights in a 9 beds shared room. En-suite toilet and shower was a nice surprise. Hostel is similar to Hyde Park Inn. Clean and functional facilities, warm enough to sleep with the window open. There are also shared bathrooms at basement level.

The private rooms are great and offer everything you need at a great location. They were also able to accommodate us for two more nights (our flights got cancelled). The staff is friendly enough and the area is quiet and seems safe. The breakfast is meh so we usually grabbed a coffee at Costa and went into the park to watch dogs.
