St Mary's Mountain Hut

Such hut, much warm. many climb?

Warm and only slightly moist

Fireplace, drying cupboard. On point.

Basic hut, has a real charm, but could do with a deep clean

We loved it!!! Very scenic
Take warm clothes !

Spent many great weekends enjoying hut chili and drinking Sainsbury's "Parkin Special" canned bitter (beyond plenty of time spent in the Cwellyn Arms over the hill). Hope the old traditions of the naked steeplechase, the upside down ladder ascent and the "make the fire so hot everyone winds up forced against the back wall" game are alive and well. Oh yes. Don't Shoe the joint.

Some of the very best weekends of my medical school career spent here. Long may google list it as St Mary’s especially when imperial college have sold my alma mater to the developers!
