My last visit was a nightmare but I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times before so it wouldn't be fair to review it solely on my last visit (30 c in the room and key card machine broken). The staff at the hotel are friendly and service is excellent but they do change quite frequently so can differ(staff). The rooms are good but don't have air-con and the fans supplied are inadequate. If stopping in the summer, be warned. Based on the A41 services you have a McDonalds opposite and a shell garage which also have selected food and drinks available. Food at the hotel is reasonable although it's best to book a table on check in as it's quite a small area. Bar available but again small and limited seating. Breakfast is cooked to order so is freshly done for you instead of buffet.

Fairly standard Premier Inn. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Reception is open 24h and check out is at 12. Unfortunately none of the rooms have air conditioning (clearly stated on their website when booking) and that makes it impossible to sleep at night, especially in the Summer where room temp never go below 28°C. They know this is an issue and all rooms are fitted with a desk fan, which doesn't really help.

With Premier in you generally know what your getting. However on this occasion there was a few issues...on arrival at 3.20pm we were given room 108... we were in a bit of a rush to check in and change as we had an event to go to. We got to the room and it wasn't ready... no one around just a pile of laundry and a cleaners trolley. We looked around the corridor and found the cleaner who in our opinion was drunk. We reported the room not being ready and the reception said they would change our room and investigate. The new room was fine clean and as you would expect. Overall service was good, room was fine...location in a service area so adequate for the location we wanted.

The staff at this hotel were very polite and friendly, the rooms were nice and spacious, plus it was lovely to see and actual bed in the twin room instead of a sofa, however the room wasn't the cleanest; there were some faint, bloody fingerprints on the bathroom wall and there was quite a bit of mould in the woodgrain of the bathroom door as well as some mould spots above the sink. Another issue we ran into was the restaurant not being open for lunch and a lack of disabled bays in the car park (there are 3) which presented us with a bit of an issue on Tuesday evening.
Another thing to note is the "menu" you get in your room. It states it is a menu, and that you can get food to your room, yet there is no actual list of food you can order, nor are there any prices. It would be nice to see that rectified in the future.
We did enjoy our stay and we are very likely to use this Premier Inn the next time we visit Amersham as the staff were lovely, the location is convenient and it is actually surprisingly peaceful even with its close proximity to a very busy thoroughfare

Great hotel for easy reach to Warner Bros Studios and a quick taxi ride to Hemel Hempstead train station to get into London easily. Really clean hotel, super comfy beds the room was very warm but fan provided. Would stay again.

The thing with Premier inn’s are there are no surprises, you know exactly what your going to get.
This inn is no different. That’s why we love staying in them.
From checking in to checking out, everything was smooth and safe.
The room is standard and the beds are great.
It was really quiet in the hotel, other than a boy racer revving his Corsa till late.
We had an evening meal in the attached pub, the food was fine, not big portions though.
We used this inn to follow on to the Harry Potter Studio Tour that isn’t that far away.
The only let down with all Premier Inns is the Breakfast cost. Sure there’s plenty of choice, but nearly £10 is a bit much. The McDonalds opposite is far better value.

Booked 2 rooms, the boys room was musty, damp and mouldy. They hated staying in the room. Was unable to switch as wanted rooms near each other.
The other room was perfect, airy and clean. Absolutely no problems.
Service was excellent, receptionists were friendly and helpful.
Macdonald right next to hotel which the kids loved. Nice quiet area for me, but not so much for the kids.
The hotel will benefit from a general uplift.

Room was clean and a great size. We met different staff across the 3 days we were there and they were all great! From the cook to the receptionist all lovely and went above and beyond. A very pleasant stay
