Premier Inn Thurrock West hotel

Had a double bed room for 2. Room was spacious even with a sofa bed made up to be a single bed. Bathroom was nice, though shower head was not an adjustable one. Clean and quiet room I slept like a baby. My stay was happy, plenty space for parking also. I will definitely stay again.

Without doubt the worst Premier Inn I've stayed in! Rooms are as you'd expect, but with no WiFi or phone signal in the room doing any work or chatting to family was impossible. Service in the restaurant was poor, I was left for 20 mins without any one taking my dessert order, finally gave up and then had to wait 10 mins to pay! A couple of the staff were friendly the rest either ignore you or walk around looking thoroughly fed up, which is to be honest exactly how I felt!

The systems seemed to be down, and there were a number of guests waiting to be booked in.
One member of staff (Scarlet) I found to be a bit rude and abrupt. She was abrupt to my partner when explaining the reason why they needed names for fire safety. Plus, she was rude to a guest when asking for the booking reference number. She snatched the phone out of the gentleman's hand so she could type the number in quickly. The other members of staff were more friendly and helpful.
The room I stayed in was cold at first due to a draft coming from the window, which I managed to sort out.
Moan over, great location if you are going to shop at lakeside

Me and my partner stayed here not long ago and didn’t have a good stay at all. 45 minutes before check out, one of the male staff decided to open our hotel door without knocking, to which I was stood there in my underwear and my partner was in the shower. I raised my voice and he closed the door and left. I am so angry and won’t be staying here again. We mentioned this as we were checking out however I’m not too sure if anything has been done.

Room was once again not serviced over a 2 day stay, sheets do not fit bed. Luckily this week we were advised of the car park conditions and entering our reg into system, this was not advised last week so let's hope no fine coming our way to dispute. Other guests booking in also unaware until we pointed it out ongoing issues with housekeeping and a certain young rude receptionist. Unable to use online complaint form as the calendar does not populate! One way to keep complaints low. Restaurant waitress was great as was the food. Unfortunately we would not recommend and returned due to location only

Room had significant water leak in bathroom from cystern, appalling experience in restaurant with disgusting take away pizza (I left it behind and did not pay for it, eughhh! See photo) Staff tried to convince me ' that is how Premier Inn do it'.... Unmitigated bulls#it. Hotel check in lady was brilliant though, despite IT problems. Only negative Premier Inn experience in 3 years of regular stays!

Good hotel close to a lot of stores. Premier Inn is pretty much always nice. Rooms are okay and clean so worth the 5 stars.

We waited 30 mins to be checked in because there was only one person at The tills. I think he was new and excited because he was doing too much. A female joined him and finally checked us in. The room they gave us - the card holder was broken so we couldn’t use the electricity. We went downstairs to change it- once again we were still the ones waiting. How can u give a room with a broken card holder lmao?
The worse part is- the second room they gave us absolutely stank of weed. We didnt stay the night- we left because I wasn’t about to sleep in a room that stank. Wont ever be using premier inn again.
