Great location and setting, and the room was excellent. The Spa was relaxing and enjoyable, but there did not seem to be quite enough staff to keep on top of everything (tidying, replenishing water etc. ) Reception staff were superb, and the food was of a good standard. Restaurant service was mostly excellent, but some junior staff clearly needed more training. Overall, a nice stay, and I would certainly visit again.

The booking experience for the spa was simple however I was informed by confirmation email that someone would contact me to arrange the times of the treatments. This didn't happen so eventually I contacted them.
The actual service was very good as were the treatments/practitioners, I left the treatment room glowing and relaxed. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely use the spa again. The soft lighting and music were lovely as was the atmosphere.
The email also stated that...
'a complimentary selection of herbal infused, iced water and fresh fruit will be available for you to enjoy throughout your day'.
The water (which wasn't iced and I'm not sure if it was infused as it was lukewarm) ran out in the relaxation room early afternoon, the bin was overflowing with disposable cups and there was no fruit.
These were small inconveniences and I'd definitely use the spa again. Customer service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Lunch was lovely and very relaxing; it was nice to be able to stay in my robe to enjoy lunch rather than get dressed.

We came here for my friends birthday for a golf weekend. The main course is very good and kept well, the smaller course not so with the greens being poor. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were pleasant, but as previous comments about the bar prices they are ridiculous £7.40 for a pint of lager!!! And the food is just as over priced too. We ended up going into a local town by taxi where we found a good pub with a band on and 4 pints for £16 We wouldn't come back here purely because of its pricing

Everything from the golf, the front of house hotel staff, pro shop to evening dinner and staff were amazing. Shame they had no draft lager and the woman serving breakfast was an absolute bag of laughs, rude, grumpy and quite honestly didn't want to be there. Apart from that, the room was amazing, staff and both courses all amazing. A little music in the bar would have been nice. Thanks for a great stay (apart from breakfast happy harry!)

The 2 courses were well kept and enjoyable to play. The staff in the hotel were absolutely amazing, very chatty and welcoming. After the first round, all Draft lager was out due to a large group on Sunday, paid £19.00 for 2 bottles of corona and 2 becks, was absolutely disgusting seeing as it wasn't our fault they had under ordered and ran out of draft. Dinner and the staff serving dinner were amazing, can't fault the food or the staff. Was allowed to tee off earlier on Tuesday by the pro shop guy that was also very accommodating. However, the breakfast was served by a member of staff that was rude, dismissive and quite honestly miserable. The rooms were amazing, clean, tidy and well stocked with great views of the emerald course. Altogether had an amazing time and would return again if peroni had been ordered and the breakfast was served by someone else.

A few problems in the room didn't spoil our stay, mostly repairs needed very quickly noted by reception. Excellent food although Christmas carvery could have been hotter as was just about eating temperature. Staff are very attentive and lovely nothing too much trouble. Wonderful views of the golf course, hotel very secluded in a lovely location.

We stayed here for 2 nights, for the New Year. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. The New Year’s Eve gala dinner & entertainment was superb! We both had such a fantastic time and would definitely do this again. The meals were all great. The only downfall was the bathrooms seriously need refurbishing and the hotel was quite cold.

We were pleasantly taken by surprise at the high level of service at this spa. The spa is immaculately clean (Lucyna made every area sparkle) and spa staff are very friendly and helpful.
Afternoon lunch was served in the conservatory by Simon who was very attentive. The spa is located in a beautiful wooded setting. We look forward to visiting other hotels from this chain in the future.
