We have just arrived home after a really fantastic two night stay at Pendley Manor Hotel. Before our arrival I talked to Claire at reservations, who was extremely polite and helpful. The staff at the resort were also very friendly and accomodating, such as Claudia from the Shakespeare Lounge. The room we stayed in was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The food we had from the Oak Restaurant was extremely good and reasonably priced. Altogether an excellent stay. Many thanks.

The hotel and the surroundings are amazing, the staff we’re incredible however we we’re slightly disappointed on a couple of things. I believe there was a wedding the same night that we stayed and that potentially impacted a couple of things. When we used the facilities (pool etc) the steam room was out of action, so there was only the pool and sauna. The pool is small and there are only 6 reclining seats to sit on. All of them were occupied so we couldn’t enjoy the facilities. Spa is great! When we went for dinner in the hotel, we were waiting over 30 mins for our starter. The layout of the dining room was quite compact and brightly lit which made you feel like you couldn’t relax. When we went for breakfast the next day, we were asked to sit in another dining room which meant we had to share a table with other guests, which again wasn’t very relaxing. This also meant we had to walk through corridors and another room to get our breakfast. The room we stayed in was lovely however slamming doors were waking us up quite a lot. I think if we went in the winter, when it may be quiet then we would have a better experience as weddings are hard work for hotels. However we paid over £400 for our package which (I think) is a lot of money and really wish we had enjoyed every single part rather than just parts of the stay.

The place is beautiful and the peacocks roam free which is awesome. Service was impeccable everywhere - always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed facials and afternoon tea then enjoyed the grounds and chilled at the spa before relaxing in our room. Perfect.

Only small niggle was could have been a bit more attention to detail in cleaning. Stains on saucer at afternoon tea. Water cooler top was dusty in the pool area and cups were resting on that. Generally place was clean..just little things.

Overall though it was lovely, friendly and relaxing.

The Manor is exquisite and the grounds magnificent. The staff are professional and helpful. We had lunch at the end of a busy long weekend, so the food was sadly underwhelming. I look forward to returning for an overdue pampering at the delightful spa which has glorious aromas and friendly staff...

We have spend a night at Pendley Manor, for our friend's birthday celebrations. The rooms are spotless clean and really nice modern decorated. Reception very informative and helpful. We had dinner in the Oak restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, Lamb Shank was cooked to perfection👌

My wife booked a room including dinner and breakfast for my 40th birthday. On arrival we were informed of a complimentary upgrade to our room which was now a suite. The room was excellent being large and spacious. Staff had also provided a birthday treat of delicious chocolates.

The facilities were superb and included an indoor swimming pool, spa and gym.

We had a 3 course dinner in the restaurant. This was an exceptional meal with great service and even better food.

The only disappointment was breakfast. This was a buffet style with even drinks not being served at the table. I'm not a fan of buffet style breakfasts with continual journeys to collect food and drinks. It's not relaxing nor enjoyable standing in a queue waiting for hot food or the toaster. The food was fine but the overall breakfast experience was no where near the standard of the evening meal.

It was however a lovely and enjoyable stay.

Day spa - my aunt and I came yesterday for a spa day. My aunt is over from Canada so I thought Pendley and it’s setting would be a great destination for her. The treatments were great. My aunt said the best massage she had ever had. However she is 87 and there has been no warning about the journey from the treatments to the pool and restaurant. Unfortunately my aunt is now sitting with her foot up and the multiple stairs was too much for her. There really needs to be some warning about the distance and complexity of the journey around the spa.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and my room was incredible also, really spacious and well decorated with all the amenities I needed for my stay. I had a lovely view of the gardens.

Unfortunately neither my heater (error message on screen) or hot water were working. When I raised this with reception the lady at reception was really dismissive and had a very “not bothered” response which is such a shame because otherwise the stay was great.

I understand the reason for the hot water not working was due to frozen pipes, which is outside of the hotels control but I was made to feel like a real bother for mentioning it.

My colleague advised that she heard the same member of staff have the same reaction to another customer 10 minutes later.
