We stayed at the Premier Inn Havant, using it as a base for our daughter’s wedding which was taking place at a venue close by. We had a block booking for 30+ rooms for ourselves and our guests and from start to finish the service and quality of our stay was excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful and I was so impressed by how spotlessly clean and comfortable our room was. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so great and to the lovely chap on reception who helped us get through the initial complicated booking, I have to say you’re a star. This was my first stay at a Premier Inn and it was a great experience.

Typical Premier Inn, you know what you are getting before you arrive. What makes this one better than the norm is the staff. You are made to feel genuinely welcome. You arrive to a smile (something lacking in many hotels) from check to check out they make your stay as good as it could possibly. Breakfast starts at 6:30am so I'm one of the first in and I have to say when compared to a lot of chain hotels the breakfast is great with a wide variety for all.

Perfect base for base for meeting friends and visiting Portsmouth.
Friendly and arrival and throughout our stay, comfy beds and coffee facilities.
Breakfast was superb the fact the buffet is linked to the kitchen server is such a good idea as the food was nice and hot.
We didn't get to try the restaurants but we will be returning.

Hotel staff were helpful and friendly especially the manager who couldn't do enough for people. The hotel was spotless and comfortable. This is definitely the best premier inn we have stayed in 😊

As Premier Inns go it was ok, the female staff seemed very preoccupied with the workmen in the centre of what this hotel called a bar area, they clearly were all very friendly and vocal. Food was ok but in the room the table was gaffa taped, the lamp switch broken as was the air conditioning switches the door would only lock when pulled towards you the chair seat was creaky and very thin you could feel the frame. It was however clean and fairly quiet

Was a well-priced option for visiting Goodwood Revival. Friendly staff, clean and well-equipped room. Free WiFi is worthless, apparently they will upgrade the service soon. Free parking and restaurant just across from the hotel as well as a smaller restaurant inside the hotel. Breakfast was really good.

Stayed here a few times over the last month on business and while the staff are nice and the hotel is very clean there are several problems.

I specifically booked normal double room but was given an adapted room instead. I had previously stayed in one of those rooms and the mattress was too small for me, like mush and gave me back ache.

I immediately complained to the management and they said that because the hotel was full I would have to move to another hotel to get a different room type but would be left out of pocket due to the cost of parking at the other hotels in the area. I asked them to refund me the cost of the parking as my having to pay it would be due to their mistake and they refused.

This meant I was stuck in the uncomfortable accessible room for the night.

The Internet is shockingly unreliable, I've had several nights where it just hasn't worked and some of those are where I paid for the Premium WiFi. I complained about this but got fobbed off by customer services.
It doesn't help that the mobile phone reception is absolutely nonexistent meaning you're stuck with the dodgy WiFi or nothing at all.
At this point I don't think that as a company Premier Inn give a stuff about their customers, they're more interested in taking your money than providing a decent service.

As said at the start of this review the staff were nice and the food in the morning was also decent

Just got home from staying at this premier inn, 5 of us stayed in a family room and we are impressed with room size, cleanliness. The food in the mornings was nice and staff here are lovely we’ve booked to go back to this location as we were very impressed. Only thing we were slightly disappointed with was the Internet connection but didn’t cause massive issues with our stay as we have plenty of phone data. Portsmouth, Hayling island and south sea are within reasonable distance. There was hardly any noise coming from the A27 either which we were happy about
