The hotel is very close to the Cambridge train station, so it is very convenient for travellers arriving late at night. Compared with its neighbouring hotels, it could have had clearer hotel front, as I missed it in the dark. My single room in the attic was very small, considering the rate, but was fortunately a clean, decently decorated en-suite one. Central heating and double glazing were sufficient to make it cozy throughout my stay. The bathroom was really tiny, but again very clean. The electric shower was powerful, but the small gap between its front and back shells made me concerned of electric shock. Room service was good - bed was made every day, and the room tidied up with tea bags, coffees and toiletries replenished. You have to book in advance for the free continental breakfast at half hours the next morning. The breakfast was simple but good enough. The staff member I met was friendly and helpful.

Good location by the station. Friendly staff. No breakfast. Room was quite small, not very clean (dusty floor and hairy shower) and in need of some maintenance. I was woken a lot by slamming doors and squeaky floorboards, the room is not soundproof. The bed was very comfy. Cheap hotel, you get what you pay for.

The hotel is clean enough albeit very old and slightly in disrepair.

The room was clean, sheets were okay, and it had what you would expect from this sort of establishment (towels, kettle, etc.)

There is no formal reception and no parking.

No bike area either (we cycled) but the staff were helpful and found another room to keep them in.

If I'd have to, I'd stay again, as nothing was really that bad, but wouldn't recommend if you have other options.

Hotel is an old house falling apart. House smells and is in terrible condition. Rooms and bathroom are the same old dirty and very used. Bedding was bearable but dirty towels. Heating could not be switched off so slept in a sauna even with windows open. TV did not work. Unsure cupboard to leave luggage. For the price £124 a night is way to expensive should be listed as a hostel at best. Would avoid and never visit again.

Nothing special, but its at convenient location just 2-3min from Cambridge train station. The rooms have not very good sound proofing (at leat in old rooms, and it seems that they are refurbishing it bits by bit, so maybe that will be improved). I would say for that price its ok to stay for 1-2days, but if to stay longer then I would try to find somthing better (if your pocket allows).

Another exmple of the quality of small hostels/hotels in the UK.
Old and decrepid, repainted and repainted, nothing works very well, shower, tv etc.etc.
Over priced compared to the rest of Europe today. My 1 week stay was paid by a third party. Its worthy of 20-30 max pounds per/night.

Beautiful room, only 15min by walk from City Centre. Easy check in, very clean room and toilet. It's a shame, that luggage storage isn't free of cost.

You can’t go wrong for the price.
The location is perfect.
The room was really nice, simple but cosy and clean.
The cleaner was really friendly.

For the price your paying in Cambridge it’s brilliant
