Premier Inn Clacton-on-Sea (North/Colchester Road) hotel

A bit disappointed with this Premier Inn when we stayed while attending a wedding at Villiers Barn just down the road.. It's pretty standard and don't get me wrong, the staff were very professional and the room was very clean but the rooms don't have air conditioning. I accept that this isn't really an issue for 90 percent of the year in this country but on a baking August day when the sun's been beating down on it all day, the rooms are like ovens. There was a fan provided but unfortunately all this did was blow very warm air around. I tried sleeping in the bath which was slightly cooler but just too uncomfortable. In the end I "slept" on the floor under the open window which was about half a degree cooler than the rest of the room. Definitely in my top ten of all time worst night's sleep. Probably perfectly fine in the winter, just don't stay there in August.

Visiting friends in Little Clacton, this was the perfect location. The room was lovely and clean as we've come to expect from Premier Inn with a welcome fan in the room. The Bowling Green where we had breakfast was extremely well organised with the usual quality choice for breakfast. Thank you Team Premier Inn

Picked for location, just a few miles from Clacton-on-Sea. Rooms spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Ensuite facilities too. With tea making facilities plus hair dryer.

Good price paid overall. This locations rooms are much noisier than other Premier Inns I have stayed at over the years. You can hear a fair amount through the walls here.
Other than that, room was reasonably well looked after and appeared to be fairly clean.

Room was great, lovely and clean, with plenty of towels and coffee and tea. We spent two nights here as we were celebrating our sons wedding. We would definitely stay again. Thank you

The accommodation was very good with all the usual facilities including coffee-making, hairdryer, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay.

Yes liked it a lot bed's lovely and comfortable my little great grand walked in the room and said nan the room is amazing we both loved it the staff was so helpful and very nice thank you price was excellent ⚘

One of my most regular Premier Inn stays. Always friendly. Bowling Green good for meals or just a drink, can get very busy so best to book for breakfast at the weekend.
